The Nantucket Sinks 33" Double Bowl Italian Fireclay Farmhouse Kitchen Sink comes in 4 versions: 4 colors. Pick your options above to open the exact model, with its own price and details. The details below are for the Concrete version.
The Nantucket Sinks FCFS3318D-Concrete is a 33" double bowl Italian fireclay farmhouse sink in a concrete-effect glaze. It puts a modern industrial spin on the farmhouse sink for a loft, contemporary or rustic-modern kitchen, pairing the look of poured concrete with the easy care of glazed fireclay and two equal bowls for washing and rinsing.
Inside, two equal 14.5" x 15.75" bowls, each 8.75" deep, split the work 50/50: one side for soaking or washing, the other for rinsing or a dish rack. The 33" x 18" sink with its 10" apron needs a custom or apron-front base cabinet.
Like every Vineyard sink, it is made in Italy from genuine fireclay, fired in a kiln for 15 hours and finished by hand, so the glaze is durable and scratch resistant and each piece is unique. Fireclay will not rust and lets food stains wipe away, and Nantucket notes fireclay needs fewer cleansers. Dimensions are nominal, up to 1/2" variation, so the base is built to the sink.
Planning the Cabinet and Plumbing
Planning the cabinet comes first with any fireclay farmhouse sink. This one needs a custom apron front base (measure the actual sink first), and because it weighs 119 lbs, the cabinet is fitted with an internal support frame to carry it. It has no faucet holes, so the faucet goes on the countertop or the wall. The drain opening is center-set, and the drain is ordered separately; the thick fireclay bottom may require an extended flange or ferrule on the drain. Measure the actual sink before the cabinet is built, so the opening fits the piece you receive. The accessories Nantucket lists for it, all sold separately, are the 3.5EDF-BRS extended drain flange in brushed stainless, the 3.5EDF-ORB extended drain flange in oil rubbed bronze, the NS35LCC flip-top crumb cup drain, the BG-VC3318D stainless bottom grid.
Living With Fireclay
Living with fireclay is simple. The glazed surface lets food stains wipe away, contains no metal so it will not rust, and needs only a mild cleaner and a soft cloth day to day; Nantucket suggests baking soda for stuck-on food, Soft Scrub or a Scotch-Brite sponge for a rare surface mark, and an occasional coat of carnauba wax to help water run off. Nantucket's fireclay care guide calls the material easy and low maintenance, and in hard water areas a quick dry with a cloth prevents spotting.
For a kitchen built around a statement apron front sink, the Nantucket Sinks FCFS3318D-Concrete pairs a 33" double bowl Italian fireclay farmhouse design with the easy care of glazed fireclay, a farmhouse kitchen sink meant to be used hard every day and still look like the centerpiece of the room.
Features
Concrete-Look Matte Glaze
The matte glaze varies in depth and lightness across the sink to imitate poured concrete.
Industrial Grey Tone
The grey concrete tone pairs with stainless appliances, black hardware and warm wood, and the matte glaze cleans with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth like any fireclay.
Two Equal 50/50 Bowls
Two 14.5" x 15.75" basins, each 8.75" deep, let you wash in one and rinse or stack dishes in the other while the second bowl stays free for prep.
A Drain in Each Bowl
Each bowl has its own centered 3.5" drain opening, so both sides empty independently; the thick fireclay bottom may require an extended flange or ferrule on the drain.
Kiln-Fired Italian Fireclay
Each sink is shaped and hand finished in Italy, then fired in a kiln for 15 hours, which Nantucket says makes the glaze durable and scratch resistant for years of daily use. Because every piece is finished by hand, no two are exactly alike.
Glazed, Rust-Proof Surface
Fireclay contains no metal, so it cannot rust, and the glaze lets everyday food stains wipe away. Nantucket says fireclay needs fewer cleansers.
Center 3.5" Drain
The 3.5" drain opening sits at the center of the basin. Nantucket sells the 3.5EDF extended disposal flange separately.
Honest Handmade Tolerances
Nantucket lists the dimensions as nominal: a fired sink can vary by up to 1/2" and the walls taper 1/4" toward the bottom. The cabinet and countertop openings are therefore measured from the actual sink.

Installation & Care
Installation
This is an undermount farmhouse sink for a custom or apron-front base cabinet sized from the actual sink, built with an internal cradle or 2x4 support frame that holds the sink level and flush with the cabinet top; Nantucket's apron guide rates the frame for up to 300 lbs, and the sink alone weighs 119 lbs, so plan a two-person lift. No template is included and dimensions are nominal, so the cabinet and countertop cutout are measured from the actual sink, flush or with a 1/4" overhang. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the counter or wall. The sink has two 3.5" drain openings, one centered in each bowl; the thick fireclay bottom may require an extended flange or ferrule on the drain, and the drain should be tightened by hand so it is never over-tightened. Professional installation is required. The Apron installation guide is in Resources.
Care
Clean the fireclay regularly with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge, then rinse; in hard water areas, dry it with a cloth to prevent spotting. Soak stuck-on food to loosen it, using baking soda if needed, and lift a rare surface stain with Soft Scrub or a Scotch-Brite sponge. An occasional coat of carnauba wax adds protection and helps water run off. Fireclay contains no metal, so it will not rust. Fireclay is stain resistant and low maintenance, and the drain should never be over-tightened.

About Nantucket Sinks
Nantucket Sinks is a boutique sink maker based in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, that has designed kitchen and bath sinks for more than two decades. Its range of over 500 products brings together fireclay, stainless steel, granite composite, vitreous china, cast iron and hand-hammered metals sourced from skilled makers in Italy, China and beyond, styled with the charm of the New England coast.
The Vineyard Collection is Nantucket Sinks' line of Italian fireclay farmhouse sinks, named for Martha's Vineyard across the water from Nantucket and its long history of artist colonies. It is where the brand puts its most decorative work: sculpted aprons such as Grapes, Filigree and Waves, a curved apron, hand-distressed Shabby glazes, a Pietra Sarda stone effect and matte black or concrete finishes. Sizes run from the compact 23" FCFS2418S through the 30" FCFS3020S to the 33" FCFS3320S, FCFS3320CA and double bowl FCFS3318D, so one look can be matched to the cabinet run you have.
