The Nantucket Sinks BG-HC39 is a set of two stainless steel bottom grids for Nantucket's Hyannis-39-DBL double bowl fireclay sink and the Chatham-39-DBL. Each grid is 16.5" x 14.75" x 1" with a 5.25" drain hole, one for each bowl, so both sides of the sink are protected from heavy cookware.
The grid is protective electro-plated stainless steel with a polished chrome finish, 1" tall overall, with protective vinyl bumpers and non-slip rubber feet. It lifts dishes and cookware off the floor of the sink, and the feet keep the grid from sliding when you set a heavy pot down.
On a fireclay sink the grid does double duty. Nantucket notes it protects the glaze from the chipping and damage that can happen if heavy cookware is dropped, and the rubber feet help keep the glazed finish intact, which keeps a Hyannis-39-DBL or Chatham-39-DBL looking new for longer.

Installation & Care
Installation
Set each grid in the bowl of a compatible sink (Hyannis-39-DBL or Chatham-39-DBL) with the feet down, lining the drain opening up over the sink drain, and lift it out whenever you want the full bowl or need to clean underneath. The sink is sold separately.
Care
Hand wash the grid with a brush or sponge and mild soapy water, rinse and air dry. Do not place it in the dishwasher, as high temperatures could warp or damage the bumpers and feet. Remove mineral deposits with vinegar and water, never use steel wool or bleach on the plated steel, and lift the grid out now and then to rinse the sink floor beneath it.

Nantucket Sinks ships this item by UPS or FedEx from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused Nantucket Sinks products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry Nantucket Sinks' 25% restocking fee, you pay the return shipping, and the return travels at your risk, so pack it as it arrived. Payment processing fees are not refunded. Installed, used or damaged products, and discontinued models, can't be returned.
Nantucket Sinks backs its accessories with a 1-year limited warranty and replaces a drain, faucet, grid or other accessory found to have a material defect. The warranty covers residential installations for the original purchaser; installation, labor and transportation costs, and damage from installation, improper cleaning, misuse or neglect, are not covered.
Warranty claims. Email Nantucket Sinks at info@nantucketsinksusa.com with the date and place of purchase and installation, the model number, a description of the defect and photos of it. Nantucket Sinks may inspect the product and the installation before it decides on a replacement or adjustment. Contact us with your order number if you would like help with the claim.
