The Nantucket Sinks Brightwork Hand-Hammered Round Dual-Mount Stainless Steel Bar Sink comes in 2 versions: 13" or 15" size. Pick your options above to open the exact model, with its own price and details. The details below are for the 13" version.
The Nantucket Sinks ROS is a 13" round hand-hammered stainless steel bar sink from the Brightwork collection, polished to a bright shine and designed to be topmounted or undermounted. Nantucket built it for entertaining in style: a small, show-stopping round sink for a wet bar, a coffee station or the corner of an island, in a 21" base cabinet.
The 10.5" diameter bowl is 5" deep, enough for rinsing glasses, a cocktail shaker or a few pieces of fruit. It takes a junior duo bar sink drain, sold separately, and has no overflow and no faucet holes, so the bar faucet mounts beside it on the counter.
The sink is 18-gauge stainless steel, which Nantucket says will endure while adding sparkle to a bar area. It is hammered by hand, so slight variations exist and the dimensions are nominal, varying by up to 1/4", and easy occasional polishing keeps it lustrous.
The ROS weighs just 3 lbs. The ROB is the same 13" round bar sink in hammered brass, and the ROS-OF is the stainless 13" round made as an undermount bathroom sink with an overflow, so a bar and a powder room can share one look.
Installing the ROS
The ROS can be topmounted or undermounted. Because every hand-made Brightwork basin is unique, Nantucket's guide provides no template: the installer traces the actual rim and, for an undermount, subtracts 1/8" from the outline (adding 1/4" where an overhang is wanted). Mounting hardware, template and silicone are not included, silicone should be kept off the bowl because it can damage the finish, and a small rim bend from shipping can be flattened with a rubber mallet over a towel. The NS-403SS stainless junior duo drain lists the ROS among its compatible sinks.
Brightwork is Nantucket's curated assortment of specialty metal sinks, inspired by the brightwork on sailboats; like sunlight sparkling on the ocean on a clear day, the brand says, these pieces bring brilliance to a bath, bar or kitchen. The collection works in hand-hammered stainless steel, brass and copper, in round, square, oval, rectangular and trough bath and bar sinks, plus kitchen sinks, a farmhouse apron and the Steppe two-tier sink, so a home can repeat one metal from the powder room to the kitchen.
Caring for Hammered Stainless Steel
Care for the ROS follows Nantucket's hammered stainless guide: clean regularly with a non-abrasive cloth and a mild, bleach-free soap such as original Dawn, towel dry after every use to prevent water spots, and never use steel wool. For a deeper clean the brand recommends Flitz Polish Paste or a liquid metal polish, followed by Flitz Faucet Wax Plus to protect the surface, and it asks owners to keep cleaners other than mild soap and water off the steel and to rinse away grooming products, wine, fruit acid and ketchup.
The ROS is the Nantucket Sinks 13" round hammered stainless bar sink for a small wet bar or island corner, in polished 18-gauge steel that installs over or under the counter.
Features
Compact 13" Round
At 13" across, the ROS fits narrow bar cabinets and island corners where a rectangular sink would crowd the counter.
Junior Duo Bar Drain
The opening takes a junior duo bar sink drain, sized for a small basin; the NS-403SS stainless junior duo drain lists the ROS among its compatible sinks and is sold separately.
Top or Undermount
The design can be topmounted or undermounted, so it works with an existing bar top or a new stone counter.
18-Gauge Hammered Stainless
Hammered by hand from 18-gauge stainless steel, the material and gauge Nantucket lists for this Brightwork sink.
A Polish Restores the Luster
Left untreated, the hammered stainless will naturally lose its shine; Nantucket notes a quick polish brings back its original luster.
Handmade, Nominal Dimensions
Each ROS is made by hand, so Nantucket lists its measurements as nominal and they can vary by up to 1/4". Measure the actual sink before the countertop is cut so the opening fits your piece exactly.

Installation & Care
Installation
This handmade sink can be undermounted or top mounted (overmounted). Nantucket recommends professional installation. Because every hand-made basin is unique, no template is provided: the installer traces the actual rim, and for an undermount the guide subtracts 1/8" from the traced outline (adding 1/4" where an overhang is wanted). Mounting hardware, template and silicone are not included, and silicone should be kept off the bowl, where it can damage the finish. A small rim bend from shipping can be flattened with a rubber mallet over a towel. It fits a 21" minimum base cabinet. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop or the wall. The center drain takes a junior duo bar drain (NS-403SS), sold separately; there is no overflow. The Brightwork installation guide is in Resources.
Care
Clean regularly with a non-abrasive cloth and a mild, bleach-free soap such as original Dawn, and towel dry after every use to prevent water spots. Never use steel wool. For a deeper clean, Nantucket recommends Flitz Polish Paste or a liquid metal polish, then Flitz Faucet Wax Plus to protect the surface. Keep cleaners other than mild soap and water off the steel, and rinse away face cleansers, toothpaste, grooming products, wine, fruit acid and ketchup, which alter the finish.

About Nantucket Sinks
Nantucket Sinks is a boutique sink maker based in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, that has designed kitchen and bath sinks for more than two decades. Its range of over 500 products brings together fireclay, stainless steel, granite composite, vitreous china, cast iron and hand-hammered metals sourced from skilled makers in Italy, China and beyond, styled with the charm of the New England coast.
Brightwork is Nantucket Sinks' collection of specialty metal sinks, named for the polished metal trim on a sailboat. Most pieces are hand hammered by artisans, so the dimpled surface catches the light and no two are exactly alike. In stainless steel the collection covers round, oval, square and trough-style bath and bar sinks plus kitchen bowls, prep stations and a farmhouse apron; in copper it adds a hammered prep station and the Steppe two-tier sink designed with Studio Dearborn.
