This is a sink built for real work in a laundry room, mud room, garage or kitchen: Nantucket notes there was a practicality to vintage cast iron utility sinks that made sense in the home, and the Anchor Collection brings that back. At 22" x 18" and 20.25" tall, it puts a deep basin on a small stretch of wall.
The 18.5" x 14.125" basin is 10.5" deep, large enough for a laundry soak, a muddy boot rinse or a bucket fill, and the sink is cast iron coated in a white enamel glaze that Nantucket describes as scratch, chip and burn resistant. It carries cUPC certification. Hung on the wall, it saves floor space; it can also be dropped into a cabinet so the exterior of the basin is hidden.
This is the plain, durable version of the Anchor cast iron sink: the exterior bottom has an industrial unfinished black finish that may be rough or uneven, so it suits a spot where the underside is not on show or the sink drops into a cabinet. Installing the CI-2218WNRG
Cast iron is heavy, so the mounting matters. The included brackets (wall cleats) anchor into two wall studs, with 2x4 blocking added if needed and a masonry bit used through tile, and they must be level before the sink is hung; Nantucket's guide notes that faucets, drains and cleats are not installed at the factory and that local ordinance may require a licensed plumber. Caring for Enameled Cast Iron
Enameled cast iron rewards simple habits. Nantucket's care guide for the CI-2218WNRG is to rinse and wipe the sink dry after each use, wash it with warm water, a mild liquid detergent such as Ivory or Dawn and a soft sponge, and use abrasive cleaners only sparingly on stubborn stains. Steel wool, wire brushes and abrasive pads stay off the enamel, drain openers, nail polish remover and bleach should not sit on the finish, and a dripping faucet is worth fixing promptly because mineral deposits erode enamel.

Installation & Care
Installation
This cast iron utility sink mounts on the wall with the included mounting brackets (wall cleats); faucets and drains are not installed at the factory. Nantucket recommends professional installation, and its guide notes that local ordinance may require a licensed plumber. The cleat is anchored into two wall studs, with 2x4 blocking added between studs if needed and a masonry bit used through tile, and it must be leveled before the sink is hung. It can also be dropped into a cabinet so the exterior of the basin is not exposed. The 2 pre-drilled faucet holes are on 8" centers in the back ledge. Care
Rinse the sink and wipe it dry after each use; for routine cleaning use warm water, a mild liquid detergent such as Ivory or Dawn and a soft sponge. Use abrasive cleaners only sparingly for stubborn stains, and never steel wool, wire brushes or abrasive pads. Do not leave staining materials sitting on the enamel, keep drain openers, nail polish remover and bleach off the finish, and do not store open acids, bleach, lye or drain cleaner under the sink. For rare surface rust or a stain, use Bar Keepers Friend, Bon Ami or Super Iron Out, and fix a dripping faucet promptly, since mineral deposits erode enamel.

Nantucket Sinks ships this item by UPS or FedEx from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused Nantucket Sinks products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry Nantucket Sinks' 25% restocking fee, you pay the return shipping, and the return travels at your risk, so pack it as it arrived. Payment processing fees are not refunded. Installed, used or damaged products, and discontinued models, can't be returned.
Nantucket Sinks backs its cast iron sinks with a limited lifetime warranty: it replaces, at its option, any sink found to have a material defect, for a lifetime of residential use. Faucets and component parts are not covered, and chipping of the enamel from impact is not covered. The warranty covers residential installations for the original purchaser; installation, labor and transportation costs, and damage from installation, improper cleaning, misuse or neglect, are not covered.
