The Nantucket Sinks DC-TFCPS is a stainless steel deluxe colander with acacia wood handles, made for Nantucket's Cape Collection fireclay workstation sinks. It is 17.5" long, 7" wide and 4.5" deep, sized to rest across the sinks' interior ledge, for cooks who wash and drain produce right over the bowl.
Nantucket designed it to accompany its Cape Collection fireclay workstation sinks. The colander sits on the surface of the sink's interior ledge, so you can rinse produce or drain pasta over the bowl while maximizing your counter space, and the holes let the water pass through and drain into the sink. It is specifically sized for sinks with a 17.5" interior measurement from front to back.
The colander is 20-gauge stainless steel in a brushed finish, with acacia wood handles that Nantucket chose for a rich finish and a finger-friendly feel, so it is comfortable to lift even when it is full. Nantucket's site adds that it also fits its Wellfleet sinks when they are installed with a reveal, sitting on the flange.
Check the fit before ordering. No assembly is required. The sink is sold separately, so match the model number on your sink to that list.
Nantucket's workstation accessories are each sized to rest on a particular ledge or rim: the DeluxeColander-PR17 on the 17" ledge of the Rockport PR3320-APS and PR3020-APS, the DC-TFCPS on the 17.5" ledge of the Cape workstation sinks, the RT1718 on the ZR-PS-3220-16 and ZR-PS-3620-16 ledges, and the RUM mat across sinks 16" deep or less. Hand wash them with a brush or sponge and air dry; keep them out of the dishwasher.
In short, the Nantucket Sinks DC-TFCPS rests a stainless colander with acacia handles on the ledge of the Cape workstation sinks.
17.5" x 7" x 4.5"
At 17.5" long, the colander spans the 17.5" front-to-back interior of the Cape workstation sinks, while its 7" width leaves the rest of the bowl open.
Fits Four Cape Models
Nantucket lists it for the T-PS33MB, T-PS33W, T-PS36MB and T-PS36W Cape fireclay workstation sinks, all with a 17.5" front-to-back interior.
Rests on the Workstation Ledge
The colander sits on the interior ledge of the Cape fireclay workstation sinks, hanging over the bowl so it drains into the sink instead of the counter.
Acacia Wood Handles
Acacia wood handles give a rich finish and a finger-friendly grip, and they stay comfortable to hold when the colander is full of wet produce.
Drain Holes Let Water Through
Holes across the basket let water pass through and drain straight into the sink, so produce is rinsed and drained in one step.
20-Gauge Brushed Stainless
The basket is 20-gauge stainless steel in a brushed finish, light enough to lift with one hand and quick to rinse clean.
Installation
No installation or tools are needed: set the colander on the interior ledge of a compatible Cape Collection fireclay workstation sink (T-PS33MB, T-PS33W, T-PS36MB or T-PS36W), which has a 17.5" front-to-back interior, and lift it off when you need the open bowl. The sink is sold separately.
Care
Hand wash the colander with a brush or sponge and mild soapy water, then air dry or towel dry to prevent water spots; do not put it in the dishwasher. Wipe with the grain of the steel, use Bar Keepers Friend for tougher stains and vinegar and water for mineral deposits, and never use steel wool or bleach.

Nantucket Sinks is a boutique sink maker based in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, that has designed kitchen and bath sinks for more than two decades. Its range of over 500 products brings together fireclay, stainless steel, granite composite, vitreous china, cast iron and hand-hammered metals sourced from skilled makers in Italy, China and beyond, styled with the charm of the New England coast.
Nantucket Sinks' Premium Kitchen accessories are designed alongside the brand's sinks, so many of them sit on a specific sink's interior ledges or fit a specific basin. The prep and workstation pieces, from cutting boards to colanders and serving boards, turn a ledge sink into a work surface; check the listed models to confirm the fit before ordering.
