The Nantucket Sinks GB-13x10-W is a 15" white vitreous china glazed-bottom undermount bathroom sink: a small oval with a glazed underside, made for open consoles and exposed installations where the bottom of the bowl can be seen.
The bowl measures 13" x 10.125" and is 6.125" deep inside a 15" x 12.125" x 7.125" body, and it has an overflow, so it takes a 1.75" vanity drain with overflow. Set below a stone or solid-surface countertop, the rim disappears and water can be wiped from the counter straight into the bowl. Nantucket lists a 18" minimum base cabinet. Vitreous china is a dense, fired ceramic, and Nantucket seals it with a porcelain enamel glaze for a high gloss finish that makes the surface easy to clean and maintain; it is durable and practical for everyday use. Dimensions are nominal, so the countertop opening is marked from the actual sink.

Planning the Vanity
When planning the vanity, allow a base cabinet of at least 18". The sink has no faucet holes, so the faucet goes on the countertop or the wall, and its drain opening takes a standard 1.75" vanity drain with overflow, sold separately, with Nantucket's umbrella pop-up drains listed for it. Professional installation is recommended, and silicone sealant is not included.
An undermount bowl is fastened below a solid countertop with clips, and Nantucket's guide recommends a 1/4" overhang, which hides the silicone line and lets the counter edge frame the bowl.
Caring for Vitreous China
Vitreous china is the classic bathroom-sink material for good reason: the porcelain enamel glaze is easy to clean and maintain. Rinse and wipe it dry after use, use a soft abrasive cleaner only when needed (strong abrasives can dull the glaze), and keep open acids, bleach and drain cleaners out of the vanity. It is not designed to take heavy objects dropped from height, so set heavier items down gently.

Installation & Care
Installation
This sink is undermounted below a solid vanity countertop and fits a 18" minimum base cabinet. Use the sink itself, or a template, to mark the opening. Nantucket's undermount bath guide recommends a 1/4" countertop overhang to hide the silicone; the sink is fastened from below with clips, angled side down, tightened without over-tightening, and silicone sealant is not included. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop or wall. The rear 1.75" drain opening takes a standard 1.75" vanity drain with overflow, sold separately. Because the underside is glazed, the bowl can stay visible below an open console or vanity. Professional installation is recommended. The undermount installation guide is in Resources.
Care
Rinse the sink and wipe it dry with a soft cloth after use. A soft abrasive cleaner is fine when needed, but strong abrasives can scratch and dull the glaze; Nantucket suggests cleaners such as Soft Scrub, Lysol or Clorox bathroom cleaners, and Bar Keepers Friend or Bon Ami for a rare rust mark or heavy stain. Do not store open containers of acids, bleach, lye or drain cleaner under the sink, and avoid dropping heavy objects into the bowl, which can crack vitreous china.

Nantucket Sinks ships this item by UPS or FedEx from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused Nantucket Sinks products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry Nantucket Sinks' 25% restocking fee, you pay the return shipping, and the return travels at your risk, so pack it as it arrived. Payment processing fees are not refunded. Installed, used or damaged products, and discontinued models, can't be returned.
Nantucket Sinks backs its vitreous china sinks with a limited lifetime warranty: it replaces, at its option, any sink found to have a material defect, for a lifetime of residential use. The warranty covers only the ceramic sink when installed in a conventional countertop. The warranty covers residential installations for the original purchaser; installation, labor and transportation costs, and damage from installation, improper cleaning, misuse or neglect, are not covered.
