The umbrella top is a push-pop design: press the cap to close the drain and fill the basin, press again to open it, with a spring mechanism doing the work instead of a lift rod behind the faucet. That keeps the deck behind the faucet clear and leaves the drain cap as a small finished detail in the bowl. Nantucket builds the drain in brass, and a rubber seal ring on each side of the sink ensures a snug fit in the drain hole.
Nantucket notes that its drain hole size is the standard US vanity size, so it suits most bathroom sinks as well as Nantucket's own. Installation
Nantucket recommends professional installation. The drain fits a 1.5" drain hole and is designed for sinks without overflow; Nantucket lists it for its NSV105, NSV107a, NSV109 and NSV222 vessel sinks. A rubber seal ring sits on each side of the sink. Installation instructions are printed on a paper insert in the box.
Care
Wipe the drain with a soft damp cloth and a little mild soap free of antibacterial or bleach additives, then rinse and dry it by hand. For mineral deposits or water spots, Nantucket recommends Bar Keepers Friend or Brasso. Never use steel wool, a scouring pad or a sponge, and rinse off face cleansers, toothpaste, grooming products, wine, fruit acid and ketchup promptly, since they can alter the finish.

Nantucket Sinks ships this item by UPS or FedEx from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused Nantucket Sinks products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry Nantucket Sinks' 25% restocking fee, you pay the return shipping, and the return travels at your risk, so pack it as it arrived. Payment processing fees are not refunded. Installed, used or damaged products, and discontinued models, can't be returned.
Nantucket Sinks backs its accessories with a 1-year limited warranty and replaces a drain, faucet, grid or other accessory found to have a material defect. The warranty covers residential installations for the original purchaser; installation, labor and transportation costs, and damage from installation, improper cleaning, misuse or neglect, are not covered.
Warranty claims. Email Nantucket Sinks at info@nantucketsinksusa.com with the date and place of purchase and installation, the model number, a description of the defect and photos of it. Nantucket Sinks may inspect the product and the installation before it decides on a replacement or adjustment. Contact us with your order number if you would like help with the claim.
