The Nantucket Sinks PR2219PS-W is a 22" dual-mount granite composite workstation sink in a classic matte white, from the European-made Rockport Collection. Nantucket pitches it as ideal for smaller kitchens: it fits a 27" base cabinet, yet a ledge around the basin holds the included wood cutting board and stainless steel roll-up mat, so even a compact kitchen, bar or island gets a working prep station.
Lay the wood board on the ledge and the sink becomes a chopping station with the drain right below it; unroll the stainless mat and it becomes a drying rack. The basin is 20" x 17.25" at the top edge and 9" deep, and its floor slopes toward a side-set drain, which empties quickly and leaves the center of the bowl open for a pot. Because the drain can sit on the left or the right, you can place it where it suits your plumbing and keep more of the cabinet clear.
Rockport sinks are made in Europe from a granite composite of 80% natural stone. Nantucket rates the material resistant to stains and scratches, with a nonporous surface, able to withstand thermal shock and heat resistant to 560°F, and the stone is naturally sound absorbing, so the sink stays quieter under running water. Its care guide still asks for a trivet under any pan hotter than 500°F, because a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F.
A coordinating basket strainer drain ships with the sink, so nothing else is needed to plumb it. Overall it measures 22" x 19" x 10" and weighs 44 lbs. For a full kitchen, the 30" PR3019PS is the larger sister workstation with a colander and rinse tray added to the kit.
Installing the PR2219PS
The PR2219PS can be top mounted or reveal undermounted, where the counter stops short of the bowl so the ledge stays usable, and Nantucket recommends professional installation. The side-set drain can be placed on the left or the right to suit the plumbing, and the coordinating basket strainer with its extended flange comes in the box; the sheet asks that it be tightened by hand so it is not overtightened and does not crack the sink. The spec sheet names the included stainless roll-up mat as the RUM1711. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop or the wall.

Caring for Granite Composite
Day to day, the PR2219PS sink asks for little: clean it after use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe tea, coffee and juice up promptly so they do not set. Nantucket's care guide asks you not to cut directly on the surface, to skip harsh abrasives and metal pads, and to keep alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents away from the stone. In hard water areas, lime build-up comes off by covering the bottom of the bowl with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrubbing with the stiff side of a sponge and rinsing.

Installation & Care
Installation
This workstation sink is dual mount: it can be top mounted or reveal undermounted, where the counter stops short of the bowl so the ledge stays usable. Nantucket recommends professional installation. As a top mount, the opening is traced from the sink and cut inside the rim line and a continuous bead of plumbing silicone goes around the cutout; as a reveal undermount, the sink is clipped beneath the counter with the cutout set back to expose the ledge. It needs a 27" minimum base cabinet. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop. The side-set 3.5" drain can be placed on the left or the right, and the included basket strainer has an extended flange. Tighten the drain by hand, since overtightening can crack the sink.
Care

Nantucket Sinks ships this item by UPS or FedEx from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused Nantucket Sinks products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry Nantucket Sinks' 25% restocking fee, you pay the return shipping, and the return travels at your risk, so pack it as it arrived. Payment processing fees are not refunded. Installed, used or damaged products, and discontinued models, can't be returned.
Nantucket Sinks backs its granite composite sinks with a 5-year limited warranty: it replaces, at its option, any sink found to have a material defect, and replacement sinks are offered at 50% of the original purchase price. Thermal shock, neglect, mistreatment and cracks from an over-tightened drain are not covered. The warranty covers residential installations for the original purchaser; installation, labor and transportation costs, and damage from installation, improper cleaning, misuse or neglect, are not covered.
