The Nantucket Sinks PR2522-DM-TI is a 25" single bowl dual-mount granite composite laundry sink in titanium with metallic flecks, crafted in Europe for the Rockport Collection. At 12" tall with an 11.5" deep basin, it is a stylish way to get the job done in a laundry room, mud room or garage: there is room to soak, hand wash and rinse, and it fits a 27" base cabinet.
The 22" x 17.5" basin is deep enough to fill a bucket, soak muddy boots or hand wash delicates, and the sink tapers inward from top to bottom. The 3.5" drain sits at the rear, which Nantucket notes leaves more space under the counter for detergent and cleaning supplies. One faucet hole is pre-cut in the deck, with 2 more pre-scored on the underside if you add a sprayer or second fixture.
Rockport sinks are made in Europe from a granite composite of 80% natural stone. Nantucket rates the material resistant to stains and scratches able to withstand thermal shock and heat resistant to 560°F, and the stone is naturally sound absorbing, so the sink stays quieter under running water. Its care guide still asks for a trivet under any pan hotter than 500°F, because a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F.
It installs as a top mount or an undermount with the included clips, measures 25" x 21.75" x 12" overall and weighs 45 lbs. Nantucket designed it to coordinate with the Rockport PR-APS granite farmhouse sinks, so a laundry room can match the kitchen in the same stone and color.
Installing the PR2522-DM
The clips are included and the PR2522-DM can be top mounted or undermounted, but the spec sheet notes that no template is supplied, so the opening is laid out from the sink. Undermounted, the clips are spaced evenly and the counter is cut flush or with a 1/8" to 1/4" overhang; dropped in, the cutout gets a continuous bead of plumbing silicone, which is not included. Tighten the drain by hand so it does not crack the sink. Nantucket lists the 3.5KD-GCTI basket strainer and 3.5DF-GCTI disposal drain in the same color.

Caring for Granite Composite
Day to day, the PR2522-DM sink asks for little: clean it after use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe tea, coffee and juice up promptly so they do not set. Nantucket's care guide asks you not to cut directly on the surface, to skip harsh abrasives and metal pads, and to keep alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents away from the stone. In hard water areas, lime build-up comes off by covering the bottom of the bowl with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrubbing with the stiff side of a sponge and rinsing.

Installation & Care
Installation
This is a dual-mount sink, so it can go in as an undermount below a solid countertop or drop in from above. Mounting clips are included; no template is supplied, per the spec sheet. Nantucket's installation guide calls for professional installation. As an undermount, the clips are spaced evenly around the sink and the counter is cut flush or with an overhang of 1/8" to 1/4" (1/4" is recommended to hide the silicone). As a drop-in, the countertop opening is traced from the sink and cut inside the rim line, a continuous bead of plumbing silicone goes around the cutout and the clips are tightened until the rim seats; sealant is not included either way. It needs a 27" minimum base cabinet. One faucet hole is pre-cut, with 2 more pre-scored under the deck. The 3.5" rear drain opening takes a standard 3.5" drain, sold separately; tighten the drain by hand, since overtightening can crack the sink.
Care
Clean the sink after each use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe up tea, coffee and juice promptly. Nantucket's care guide says not to set anything hotter than 500°F on the sink (a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F), so use a trivet or potholder, and avoid thermal shock from very hot and very cold together. Do not cut on the surface, and keep harsh abrasives, metal pads, alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents off it. For lime build-up, cover the bottom with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrub with the stiff side of a sponge and rinse.

Nantucket Sinks ships this item by UPS or FedEx from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused Nantucket Sinks products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry Nantucket Sinks' 25% restocking fee, you pay the return shipping, and the return travels at your risk, so pack it as it arrived. Payment processing fees are not refunded. Installed, used or damaged products, and discontinued models, can't be returned.
Nantucket Sinks backs its granite composite sinks with a 5-year limited warranty: it replaces, at its option, any sink found to have a material defect, and replacement sinks are offered at 50% of the original purchase price. Thermal shock, neglect, mistreatment and cracks from an over-tightened drain are not covered. The warranty covers residential installations for the original purchaser; installation, labor and transportation costs, and damage from installation, improper cleaning, misuse or neglect, are not covered.
