The Nantucket Sinks PR3320-APS-W is a 33" class reversible granite composite farmhouse apron workstation sink in a classic matte white, the larger of the Rockport Collection apron sinks. Its 30" x 17" basin gives big cookware room to soak, and a built-in ledge holds the included wood cutting board and stainless steel roll-up mat over the bowl, so a family kitchen with a 36" apron base gets a full prep station in stone.
The extra width over the 30" model goes straight into the bowl: 30" across at the top edge and 9" deep, sloped to a center drain so rinse water clears quickly. With the board on the ledge you chop over the sink and sweep scraps into the drain; roll out the stainless mat and the same opening becomes a drying rack. A color-coordinated basket strainer drain and a decorative trim ring for an existing disposal flange are included.
Rockport sinks are made in Europe from a granite composite of 80% natural stone. Nantucket rates the material resistant to stains and scratches, with a nonporous surface, able to withstand thermal shock and heat resistant to 560°F, and the stone is naturally sound absorbing, so the sink stays quieter under running water. Its care guide still asks for a trivet under any pan hotter than 500°F, because a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F.
Set it with either apron face forward: the reversible design offers two front corner radius styles, one more traditional, one more modern. The outer edges taper inward toward 1/4" by design and the base is wider than the top edge. Overall the sink is 32.75" x 19.75" x 9.75" and weighs 83 lbs; the PR2522-DM laundry sink and PR1815 bar sink are designed to coordinate with these apron models.
Installing the PR3320-APS
The PR3320-APS needs an apron-front or custom base cabinet, and Nantucket's apron guide calls for a 2x4 support frame inside it, strong enough to hold up to 300 lbs once installed, set so the rim is level and flush with the cabinet top, with room left for the drain, supply lines and a disposal. There is no template; the cutout is taken from the sink, and the counter can be cut flush or with a 1/4" overhang. The included basket strainer should be tightened by hand, and the DeluxeColander-PR17 stainless colander is offered separately for the ledge. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop or the wall.
The Rockport Collection takes its name from a charming seaside village with a rugged coastline that inspired many painters, and Nantucket says the granite composite sinks are inspired by both beauty and durability. They are crafted in Europe with natural stone and come in several colors and configurations: the reversible PR3020-APS and PR3320-APS apron workstations, the PR2219PS and PR3019PS ledge workstations, and the PR1815 bar sink and PR2522-DM laundry sink, which are designed to coordinate with the apron models.
Caring for Granite Composite
Day to day, the PR3320-APS sink asks for little: clean it after use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe tea, coffee and juice up promptly so they do not set. Nantucket's care guide asks you not to cut directly on the surface, to skip harsh abrasives and metal pads, and to keep alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents away from the stone. In hard water areas, lime build-up comes off by covering the bottom of the bowl with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrubbing with the stiff side of a sponge and rinsing.
For a larger farmhouse kitchen, the PR3320-APS-W is the Nantucket Sinks 33" granite composite apron front sink in white, pairing a reversible apron with a workstation ledge so the sink is both the focal point and the prep station.
Classic Matte White
The PR3320-APS-W is a classic matte white, a timeless color that keeps the stone looking clean and bright and works with almost any cabinet color or countertop.
Matching White Rockport Pieces
White is also offered in the PR1815-W bar sink, the 22" PR2219PS-W workstation, the 30" PR3019PS-W workstation and the PR2522-DM-W laundry sink, so a kitchen, bar and laundry room can share one stone and one color.
Reversible Apron Front
The sink is reversible, with two different front corner radius designs, so you can choose the softer, more traditional apron or the crisper, more modern one when it is set into the cabinet.
Workstation Ledge Over the Bowl
A built-in ledge lets the wood cutting board and roll-up mat rest right on the sink, so chopping and drying happen over the basin and scraps go straight to the drain.
Board and Roll-Up Mat Included
A wood cutting board and the RUM-165 stainless steel roll-up mat come in the box and span the sink opening on the top ledge, so the workstation is ready to use on day one.
Matching Drain and Trim Ring
A color-coordinated basket strainer drain and a decorative disposal trim ring are included; the trim ring dresses an existing disposal flange so the drain matches the stone.
Sloped Basin Floor
The inside of the basin is sloped toward the center drain, which the spec sheet calls superior drainage, so water and rinse debris clear the 9" deep bowl quickly.
Heat and Thermal Shock Rated
Nantucket says the stone can withstand thermal shocks and temperatures up to 560°F. Its care guide still asks for a trivet under any pan hotter than 500°F and advises avoiding very hot and very cold together.
Sold separately: DeluxeColander-PR17 stainless steel colander, NS35LCC flip-top crumb cup drain (brushed stainless) or NS35LCC-CH (chrome), NS35L-EXT extended basket strainer drain, 3.5EDF-BRS or 3.5EDF-ORB extended flange.
Installation
This is a farmhouse apron sink that installs undermount style into an apron-front or custom base cabinet; it cannot go into a standard sink base without modification. Nantucket's installation guide calls for professional installation. Following the apron guide, the installer builds a 2x4 support frame inside the cabinet strong enough to hold up to 300 lbs once installed (the sink alone weighs 83 lbs), set so the rim sits level and flush with the cabinet top, with room left for the drain, supply lines and a disposal. No template is included: the cutout is taken from the sink itself, and the counter can be cut flush or with a 1/4" overhang. The outer sink edges taper inward toward 1/4" by design, so measure the actual sink before the cabinet is finished. It needs a 36" minimum apron base. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop or wall. The 3.5" center drain opening takes the included basket strainer; tighten it by hand, since overtightening can crack the sink, and because the stone is thick, a disposal may need an extended flange. The Apron installation guide is in Resources.
Care
Clean the sink after each use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe up tea, coffee and juice promptly. Nantucket's care guide says not to set anything hotter than 500°F on the sink (a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F), so use a trivet or potholder, and avoid thermal shock from very hot and very cold together. Do not cut on the surface, and keep harsh abrasives, metal pads, alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents off it. For lime build-up, cover the bottom with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrub with the stiff side of a sponge and rinse.
