The Nantucket Sinks PR3320-W-UM is a 33" single bowl undermount granite composite kitchen sink in a clean matte white, designed and made in Italy for the Plymouth Collection. Its 30" x 17.5" basin is nearly 9.5" deep, which Nantucket says accommodates your largest bakeware, pots and pans: a sink for a household that cooks in quantity and washes by hand, sized for a 36" base cabinet.
The drain is placed at the center back of the bowl. Nantucket points out the two gains: more unobstructed cabinet space underneath, because the plumbing hugs the back wall, and more open basin surface up top, because nothing stacked in the middle of the sink sits over the drain. With no divider, a roasting pan or a half sheet goes in flat to soak.
Like every Plymouth sink, it is designed and made in Italy from a granite composite of 80% natural stone. Nantucket rates the material resistant to stains and scratches, with a nonporous surface, able to withstand thermal shock and heat resistant to 560°F, and the stone is naturally sound absorbing, which keeps the clatter of dishes and running water down. Its care guide still asks for a trivet under any pan hotter than 500°F, since a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F.
Overall it measures 33" x 20" x 11" and weighs 29 lbs. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop, and the drain and the matching BG-PR3320 stainless bottom grid are sold separately. The same grid fits the PR3322-DM, the dual-mount sister model with a faucet deck.
Installing the PR3320-UM
Nantucket's undermount guide asks the fabricator to follow it and local building and plumbing codes, to space the clips evenly around the sink, loosely tighten, adjust and then tighten them, and to cut the counter flush or with a 1/8" to 1/4" overhang; a 1/4" overhang is recommended because it hides the silicone, which is not included. Mounting clips come in the box, and the drain should be tightened by hand so it does not crack the sink. Nantucket lists the NS35LCC flip-top crumb cup drains in brushed stainless or chrome, the NS35L-EXT basket strainer and the 3.5EDF-BRS and 3.5EDF-ORB extended flanges for this bowl.
Nantucket introduces the Plymouth Collection as a new series of granite composite sinks, likening it to a new arrival on a rocky shore from the old world. Every model is crafted in Italy from 80% natural stone in neutral tones, white, black, titanium, brown, truffle and sand across the range, and the line runs from compact bar and prep bowls through large single bowls to low divide double bowls and workstation models with fitted accessories, so a main kitchen sink and a second prep sink can share one material and one color.
Caring for Granite Composite
Day to day, the PR3320-UM sink asks for little: clean it after use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe tea, coffee and juice up promptly so they do not set. Nantucket's care guide asks you not to cut directly on the surface, to skip harsh abrasives and metal pads, and to keep alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents away from the stone. In hard water areas, lime build-up comes off by covering the bottom of the bowl with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrubbing with the stiff side of a sponge and rinsing.
For a household that cooks in quantity, the PR3320-W-UM is the Nantucket Sinks 33" granite composite kitchen sink in white: a deep, open single bowl for the largest cookware and a drain placement that keeps the cabinet below open.
Classic Matte White
The PR3320-W-UM is finished in a clean, classic white with a matte surface, a color Nantucket says coordinates with many design schemes. It sits quietly against white or light cabinetry and lets the faucet and hardware carry the accent.
Matching White Plymouth Pieces
White is also offered in the PR1716-W bar sink, the 24" PR2418-W, the 30" PR3018-W and the PR6040-W-UM double bowl, so a main sink and a bar, prep or second sink can share one stone and one color across the home.
Center-Back Drain Placement
Setting the 3.5" drain at the center back keeps it clear of dishes in the bowl and pushes the drain line toward the wall, which Nantucket says frees more unobstructed cabinet space underneath.
Deep Single Basin for Big Cookware
A 30" x 17.5" bowl at nearly 9.5" deep holds stockpots, roasters and bakeware upright or flat, and the depth keeps splashing inside the sink when you rinse large pans.
80% Natural Stone Composite
Made in Italy from 80% natural stone, the composite resists stains and scratches from everyday pots, pans and utensils, with a nonporous surface, so the matte finish keeps its look with normal care.
Heat and Thermal Shock Rated
Nantucket says the material can withstand thermal shocks and temperatures up to 560°F. Its care guide still asks for a trivet under any pan hotter than 500°F and advises avoiding very hot and very cold together.
Naturally Quieter Stone
Stone is naturally sound absorbing, so running water and clattering dishes are muffled, which Nantucket notes makes for a quieter kitchen. That matters most in an open-plan room where the sink faces the living space.
Sold separately: BG-PR3320 stainless bottom grid, 3.5" drain (NS35LCC flip-top crumb cup drain in brushed stainless, NS35LCC-CH in chrome, or NS35L-EXT basket strainer), 3.5EDF-BRS or 3.5EDF-ORB extended flange.
Installation
This is an undermount sink that mounts beneath the countertop. Undermount clips are included; they are spaced evenly around the sink, set loosely, adjusted, then tightened. Nantucket's installation guide calls for professional installation, and its undermount guide asks the installer to follow local building and plumbing codes. The counter can be cut flush with the bowl or with a 1/8" to 1/4" overhang; a 1/4" overhang is recommended because it hides the silicone, which is not included. It needs a 36" minimum base cabinet. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop. The 3.5" rear drain opening takes a standard 3.5" drain, sold separately; tighten the drain by hand, since overtightening can crack the sink. The Undermount installation guide is in Resources.
Care
Clean the sink after each use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe up tea, coffee and juice promptly. Nantucket's care guide says not to set anything hotter than 500°F on the sink (a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F), so use a trivet or potholder, and avoid thermal shock from very hot and very cold together. Do not cut on the surface, and keep harsh abrasives, metal pads, alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents off it. For lime build-up, cover the bottom with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrub with the stiff side of a sponge and rinse.
