The Nantucket Sinks PR3322-DM-W is a 33" single bowl dual-mount granite composite kitchen sink in a clean matte white, designed and made in Italy for the Plymouth Collection. Its 30.25" x 17.4375" basin is 9.4375" deep, and the dual-mount design means it can go in as a top mount or an undermount, your choice, as Nantucket puts it: a big, versatile main sink for a 36" base cabinet.
The single bowl has no divider, so its full width is open. The 3.5" drain sits at the rear, close to the wall, which Nantucket notes leaves more storage room in the cabinet. The optional BG-PR3320 stainless bottom grid fits this bowl and is sized for this bowl.
Like every Plymouth sink, it is designed and made in Italy from a granite composite of 80% natural stone and 20% acrylic polymers. Nantucket rates the material resistant to stains and scratches, with a nonporous surface, able to withstand thermal shock and heat resistant to 560°F, and the stone is naturally sound absorbing, which keeps the clatter of dishes and running water down. Its care guide still asks for a trivet under any pan hotter than 500°F, since a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F.
Overall it measures 33" x 22" x 11" and weighs 31 lbs, and clips for both undermount and top mount installation are in the box. The deck behind the bowl carries a pre-cut faucet hole, which is the main difference from the PR3320-UM, the undermount-only model with a similar basin and no faucet deck.
Installing the PR3322-DM
Clips for both methods are in the box. Undermounted, the guide asks the fabricator to follow it and local building and plumbing codes, to space the clips evenly around the sink, loosely tighten, adjust and then tighten them, and to cut the counter flush or with a 1/8" to 1/4" overhang; a 1/4" overhang is recommended because it hides the silicone, which is not included. Dropped in, the topmount guide traces the rim, cuts inside the line and seals the cutout with a continuous bead of plumbing silicone, also not included. Nantucket lists the NS35LCC flip-top crumb cup drains in brushed stainless or chrome, the NS35L-EXT basket strainer and the 3.5EDF-BRS and 3.5EDF-ORB extended flanges.
Nantucket introduces the Plymouth Collection as a new series of granite composite sinks, likening it to a new arrival on a rocky shore from the old world. Every model is crafted in Italy from 80% natural stone in neutral tones, white, black, titanium, brown, truffle and sand across the range, and the line runs from compact bar and prep bowls through large single bowls to low divide double bowls and workstation models with fitted accessories, so a main kitchen sink and a second prep sink can share one material and one color.
Caring for Granite Composite
Day to day, the PR3322-DM sink asks for little: clean it after use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe tea, coffee and juice up promptly so they do not set. Nantucket's care guide asks you not to cut directly on the surface, to skip harsh abrasives and metal pads, and to keep alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents away from the stone. In hard water areas, lime build-up comes off by covering the bottom of the bowl with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrubbing with the stiff side of a sponge and rinsing.
For a big main sink with installation freedom, the PR3322-DM-W is the Nantucket Sinks 33" granite composite kitchen sink in white, with a deep single bowl, a faucet deck and clips for both a top mount and an undermount.
Classic Matte White
The PR3322-DM-W is finished in a clean, classic white with a matte surface, a color Nantucket says coordinates with many design schemes. It sits quietly against white or light cabinetry and lets the faucet and hardware carry the accent.
Single Pre-Cut Faucet Hole
The PR3322-DM-W has one pre-cut faucet hole in the deck, so a single-hole faucet mounts on the sink and no countertop drilling is needed for it.
Matching White Plymouth Pieces
White is also offered in the PR1716-W bar sink, the 24" PR2418-W, the 30" PR3018-W and the 33" PR3320-W-UM, so a main sink and a bar, prep or second sink can share one stone and one color across the home.
Dual-Mount Flexibility
The same sink can be undermounted below a stone or solid surface counter or dropped in from above, and undermount and top-mount clips both ship in the box, so the choice can follow your countertop rather than the sink.
Rear Drain Frees Cabinet Space
The 3.5" drain sits at the rear of the bowl, so the drain plumbing runs closer to the wall. Nantucket notes this leaves more under-counter space for storage.
9.4375" Deep Single Basin
The 30.25" x 17.4375" bowl is 9.4375" deep, so tall pots stand upright under the faucet and rinse water stays inside the sink instead of on the counter.
80% Natural Stone Composite
Made in Italy from 80% natural stone and 20% acrylic polymers, the composite resists stains and scratches from everyday pots, pans and utensils, with a nonporous surface, so the matte finish keeps its look with normal care.
Heat and Thermal Shock Rated
Nantucket says the material can withstand thermal shocks and temperatures up to 560°F. Its care guide still asks for a trivet under any pan hotter than 500°F and advises avoiding very hot and very cold together.
Sold separately: BG-PR3320 stainless bottom grid, 3.5" drain (NS35LCC flip-top crumb cup drain in brushed stainless, NS35LCC-CH in chrome, or NS35L-EXT basket strainer), 3.5EDF-BRS or 3.5EDF-ORB extended flange.
Installation
This is a dual-mount sink, so it can go in as an undermount below a solid countertop or drop in from above. Both undermount and top-mount clips are included. Nantucket's installation guide calls for professional installation. As an undermount, the clips are spaced evenly around the sink and the counter is cut flush or with an overhang of 1/8" to 1/4" (1/4" is recommended to hide the silicone). As a drop-in, the countertop opening is traced from the sink and cut inside the rim line, a continuous bead of plumbing silicone goes around the cutout and the clips are tightened until the rim seats; sealant is not included either way. It needs a 36" minimum base cabinet. One faucet hole is pre-cut in the deck. The 3.5" rear drain opening takes a standard 3.5" drain, sold separately.
Care
Clean the sink after each use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe up tea, coffee and juice promptly. Nantucket's care guide says not to set anything hotter than 500°F on the sink (a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F), so use a trivet or potholder, and avoid thermal shock from very hot and very cold together. Do not cut on the surface, and keep harsh abrasives, metal pads, alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents off it. For lime build-up, cover the bottom with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrub with the stiff side of a sponge and rinse.
