The Nantucket Sinks PR3322PS-BL is a 33" dual-mount granite composite workstation sink in black with metallic flecks, from the Italian-made Plymouth Collection. A built-in ledge holds the included HPL cutting board and black colander right over the 30.25" x 16" basin, so you can rinse, chop and prep without leaving the sink, and a side-set drain keeps the bowl and the cabinet below open.
The idea is to keep the whole prep routine over the sink. The black cutting board, which has a marble-look texture, sits on the ledge to give you a chopping surface right above the basin, and the black colander, also made to fit the ledge, rinses produce or drains pasta without a bowl on the counter. Slide either one along the ledge as you work and the counters stay clear and clean.
Below the ledge, the basin is 8.25" deep and sloped toward a side-set drain for faster water drainage. Moving the drain to the side leaves the center of the bowl open for pots and leaves more room in the cabinet. The sink is cast from 80% natural stone, which Nantucket rates resistant to stains, scratches and thermal shock and heat resistant up to 560°F, and the stone is naturally sound absorbing. Its care guide still asks for a trivet under anything hotter than 500°F.
Overall it measures 33" x 22" x 9.125", weighs 42 lbs and fits a 36" minimum base cabinet. The deck has one faucet hole cut through and 4 more pre-scored on the underside, and a template ships with the sink. A matching BG-PR3322 bottom grid is offered separately; the cutting board is not sold separately, so look after the one in the box.
Installing the PR3322PS-BL
The PR3322PS can be top mounted or reveal undermounted, where the counter edge stops short of the bowl so the ledge stays usable, and a cutout template is included. Nantucket recommends professional installation. The side drain takes a drain with an extended flange, sold separately and tightened by hand so it does not crack the sink; Nantucket lists the 3.5KD-GCMB matte black basket strainer and the 3.5EDF-MBL matte black extended flange, and the site notes the cutting board is not sold separately.
Nantucket introduces the Plymouth Collection as a new series of granite composite sinks, likening it to a new arrival on a rocky shore from the old world. Every model is crafted in Italy from 80% natural stone in neutral tones, white, black, titanium, brown, truffle and sand across the range, and the line runs from compact bar and prep bowls through large single bowls to low divide double bowls and workstation models with fitted accessories, so a main kitchen sink and a second prep sink can share one material and one color.
Caring for Granite Composite
Day to day, the PR3322PS-BL asks for little: clean it after use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe tea, coffee and juice up promptly so they do not set. Nantucket's care guide asks you not to cut directly on the surface, to skip harsh abrasives and metal pads, and to keep alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents away from the stone. In hard water areas, lime build-up comes off by covering the bottom of the bowl with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrubbing with the stiff side of a sponge and rinsing.
The PR3322PS-BL is the Nantucket Sinks 33" granite composite workstation sink for a cook who wants to chop, rinse and drain over the basin, in Italian stone with metallic flecks and a side drain that keeps the bowl open.
Black With Metallic Flecks
The PR3322PS-BL is a matte black composite with metallic flecking throughout, a dark finish that frames the black accessories and gives the stone visible depth.
Two Ways to Mount
The design can be top mounted or reveal undermounted, which keeps the ledge accessible either way and lets the installer match the method to your countertop.
Built-In Accessory Ledge
A ledge molded into the basin carries the cutting board and colander over the sink, so chopping, rinsing and draining happen in one place and scraps go straight down the drain.
Marble-Look HPL Cutting Board
The included 9.5" x 16.5" HPL cutting board has a black marble texture and fits the ledge exactly, adding a work surface without taking any counter space.
Fitted Black Colander
The 7" x 16.5" x 3.75" black colander is sized to the same ledge, so washed produce drains directly into the basin and the colander can slide aside when you need the bowl.
Side-Set Sloped Drain
The 3.5" drain sits at the side of a sloped basin, so water runs off quickly and the middle of the bowl stays clear for large pots, with more open cabinet space below.
Pre-Scored Faucet Deck
One faucet hole is cut through and 4 more are pre-scored under the deck, so a sprayer or soap dispenser can be added by opening a hole rather than drilling stone.
Heat and Thermal Shock Rated
Nantucket says the material can withstand thermal shocks and temperatures up to 560°F. Its care guide still asks for a trivet under any pan hotter than 500°F and advises avoiding very hot and very cold together.
Sold separately: BG-PR3322 bottom grid, 3.5KD-GCMB matte black basket strainer drain, 3.5EDF-MBL matte black extended flange.
Installation
This workstation sink can be installed as a top mount or as a reveal undermount, where the counter edge stops short of the bowl so the ledge stays usable. Nantucket recommends professional installation, and a cutout template is included. As an undermount, the counter is cut to the template with clips spaced evenly around the sink; as a top mount, a continuous bead of plumbing silicone goes around the cutout before the sink is set and clamped down. It needs a 36" minimum base cabinet. One faucet hole is pre-cut, with 4 more pre-scored under the deck. The 3.5" side-set drain opening takes a 3.5" drain with an extended flange, sold separately; tighten it by hand, since overtightening can crack the sink.
Care
Clean the sink after each use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe up tea, coffee and juice promptly. Nantucket's care guide says not to set anything hotter than 500°F on the sink (a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F), so use a trivet or potholder, and avoid thermal shock from very hot and very cold together. Do not cut on the surface, and keep harsh abrasives, metal pads, alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents off it. For lime build-up, cover the bottom with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrub with the stiff side of a sponge and rinse. Wash the HPL cutting board and the plastic colander by hand with mild soap and dry them before returning them to the ledge.
