The Nantucket Sinks SR-PS2-2818-16 is the compact 28" member of the Pro Series Prep Station family: a single 26" x 14" undermount bowl, 10" deep, with tiered ledges for a colander and cutting board. It fits a 30" minimum sink base, so it brings the workstation layout to smaller kitchens, condos and secondary prep areas where a 32" or 36" sink will not fit. The colander, cutting board, bottom grid and colander drain are all included.
The tiered ledges are what make it a workstation. Instead of a plain rim, the bowl walls step in at different levels, and Nantucket designs each level so a task happens at a comfortable working height right over the sink. The colander and the cutting board both fit the tiered edges, so you can customize the workspace to the job: chop on the board, drop vegetables into the colander to rinse, and push trimmings into the bowl, with the mess contained over the sink.
Below the ledges, the single bowl has room to soak and clean large cookware and bakeware. The floor is beveled around the drain to whisk water away, and the bottom grid stands on rubber feet that protect the basin's shine. Installation & Care
Installation
This is an undermount sink: it hangs beneath a solid surface countertop such as granite or quartz, which Nantucket specifies for its undermount stainless sinks, and it fits a 30" minimum sink base cabinet. Nantucket's installation guide calls for professional installation; give the countertop fabricator the installation guide and follow local building and plumbing codes. The guide has the fabricator mark the cutout from a template, cut on the inside of the line, and finish the counter flush with the bowl or overhanging it by 1/8" to 1/4"; Nantucket recommends a 1/4" overhang, which gives a clean edge and hides the silicone. Clips are spaced evenly around the sink, set loosely, adjusted, then tightened. Silicone sealant is not included. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop, and the sink needs a standard 3.5" drain at the rear. The Undermount installation guide is in Resources.
Care
Clean the sink often rather than saving it for a heavy scrub: a soft non-abrasive cloth and a mild cleaner, wiped with the direction of the grain, then a towel dry after use to keep it shiny and free of water spots. For tougher stains use a mild abrasive such as Bar Keepers Friend, and remove mineral deposits with vinegar and water. Never use steel wool or bleach, do not leave cleaners in the bowl overnight or wet sponges and soap bars on the steel, wipe up salt, vinegar, citrus and other acidic foods promptly, and do not leave steel or cast iron cookware sitting in the sink. For the included cutting board: hand wash it with soapy water right after use, rinse and dry it, and do not soak it or put it in the dishwasher, where high heat can warp it.

Nantucket Sinks ships this item by UPS or FedEx from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused Nantucket Sinks products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry Nantucket Sinks' 25% restocking fee, you pay the return shipping, and the return travels at your risk, so pack it as it arrived. Payment processing fees are not refunded. Installed, used or damaged products, and discontinued models, can't be returned.
Nantucket Sinks backs its stainless steel sinks with a limited lifetime warranty: it replaces, at its option, any sink found to have a material defect, for a lifetime of residential use. Faucets and component parts are not covered, and an undermount sink must be installed in a solid surface countertop. The warranty covers residential installations for the original purchaser; installation, labor and transportation costs, and damage from installation, improper cleaning, misuse or neglect, are not covered.
