The Nantucket Sinks Pro Series Small Radius Farmhouse Apron Front Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink comes in 3 versions: 24", 30" or 33" size. Pick your options above to open the exact model, with its own price and details. The details below are for the 24" version.
The Nantucket Sinks APRON2420-SR-16 is the smallest stainless apron sink in the Pro Series: a 24" wide farmhouse sink with a single 22" x 18" bowl. It is made for kitchens where a full 30" or 33" apron will not fit, for a second prep sink in a large kitchen, a butler's pantry or a bar, and it ships with a bottom grid and the NS35CD colander drain, so it is ready to use the day it is installed.
The bowl is 10" deep with small radius corners: tight enough to give the crisp, squared-off look of a professional kitchen, but with a curve at the base that a sponge can still reach, so food does not pack into the corners. Channel grooves in the floor steer water to the rear drain, which sits behind the work area and leaves the middle of the bowl clear for a stockpot or a sheet pan.
Nantucket fabricates the sink from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel, and finishes it in brushed satin, which Nantucket notes keeps daily upkeep to a simple rinse. Thick rubber pads quiet the drumming of running water and dropped utensils, and the underside is sprayed with insulation to reduce condensation inside the cabinet. The exposed apron front carries the farmhouse look in steel, a more industrial take than fireclay that suits modern and transitional kitchens alike.
Planning the Apron Cabinet
An apron front sink changes how the cabinet is built. Nantucket's guide says this sink cannot go into a normal sink base without major modification: a custom or apron-front base is recommended, with a 2x4 support frame inside strong enough for up to 300 lbs once installed, set so the rim sits level and flush with the cabinet top and leaving room for the drain, the supply lines and a garbage disposal. No template is included, because the cutout is taken from the actual sink, and the stainless apron can be scratched during installation, so it stays protected until the countertop is set.
There are no faucet holes, so the faucet goes on the countertop behind the sink or on the wall. The 3.5" rear drain takes a standard kitchen drain; the NS35CD colander drain that ships with the sink fits it, and Nantucket's NS35LCC flip-top crumb cup drain and 3.5EDF-BRS extended flange are offered for anyone who prefers a crumb cup or plans a disposal.
Caring for Brushed Stainless
Brushed satin stainless is easy to live with: wipe it with a soft cloth and a mild liquid detergent, scrub with the grain, and towel dry to prevent water spots. Bar Keepers Friend handles tougher stains and vinegar and water remove mineral deposits, while steel wool, bleach and cast iron cookware left sitting in the bowl are the things to avoid.
For a compact kitchen, a butler's pantry or a second prep area that still wants a stainless farmhouse sink, the Nantucket Sinks APRON2420-SR-16 puts a 24" apron front to work with its grid and colander drain in the box.
Features
Farmhouse Style in a 24" Width
At 24" across, with a 9" tall apron and a 22" x 18" bowl, it brings an apron front to a narrow run of cabinets or a secondary prep area without giving up a 10" deep basin.
Grid and Colander Drain Included
The BG-APRON24 bottom grid lifts pots off the steel to protect the finish and let water drain beneath them, and the NS35CD colander drain catches food scraps at the 3.5" opening, so there is no extra accessory to buy.
Rear Drain Keeps the Bowl Clear
The 3.5" drain sits toward the back of the bowl, which keeps the drain out of the middle of the bowl. That leaves more usable cabinet space below for a disposal or storage.
Channel-Grooved Floor
Grooves pressed into the bowl floor guide water and rinse debris straight to the drain instead of letting it pool around the corners. Nantucket describes the grooves as diverting water for proper drainage.
Heavy 16-Gauge 304 Steel
The sink is fabricated from 16-gauge 304 stainless steel, the premium gauge Nantucket uses across the Pro Series, and its finishing process keeps the steel resistant to rust and oxidation with normal care.
Quieter, Drier Cabinet
Rubber sound-dampening pads cut the hollow ring of running water and clattering dishes, and a sprayed undercoating limits the condensation that can drip onto items stored in the base cabinet.
Easy-Care Brushed Satin Finish
The brushed satin grain gives the steel an even, low-glare look that Nantucket says needs only a simple rinse day to day, with a towel dry to keep water spots off.

Installation & Care
Installation
This is an undermount farmhouse sink that needs a custom or apron-front base cabinet; it cannot go into a standard sink base without major modification. Nantucket's apron installation guide requires professional installation. The installer builds a 2x4 support frame inside the cabinet, strong enough to hold up to 300 lbs once installed, set so the sink rim sits level and flush with the cabinet top, and the countertop is then cut flush or with a 1/4" overhang. No template is included: the cutout is taken from the sink itself, and dimensions are nominal, so measure the actual sink before the cabinet is built. The sink has no faucet holes (the faucet mounts on the countertop or wall) and needs a standard 3.5" drain at the rear. Silicone sealant is not included. The Apron installation guide is in Resources.
Care
Wipe the sink with a soft cloth and a mild liquid detergent, scrubbing with the grain, and towel dry after use to prevent water spots. For tougher stains use a mild abrasive cleaner such as Bar Keepers Friend; remove mineral deposits with vinegar and water. Never use steel wool or bleach, do not leave wet sponges or soap on the sink, wipe up salty or acidic foods promptly, and do not leave cast iron cookware sitting in the bowl.
