The Nantucket Sinks ROB-OF is a 13" round hand-hammered brass undermount bathroom sink with an overflow, from the Brightwork collection. Its polished brass adds warmth to a bath or powder room vanity, and the compact round bowl is made for small vanities, guest baths and half baths where a full-size basin would crowd the counter.
The bowl is 10.5" across and 5" deep, with a built-in overflow and a 1.5" center drain opening for a standard bathroom drain with overflow. Designed to be undermounted, the sink sits below the counter so the countertop frames a ring of hammered brass and wipes clean straight into the bowl.
The spec sheet calls it premium solid brass construction, hand hammered, so individual variations exist and dimensions are nominal, varying by up to 1/4". The brass will naturally patina if left untreated, and Nantucket marks it as needing special care and maintenance, so a wax coat and a towel dry after use keep the shine.
The ROB-OF weighs 6 lbs. It pairs with the 13" ROB bar sink, the same round brass bowl made for a bar, so a home bar and a powder room nearby can share one finish, and with the larger 16.5" RLB-OF for a primary bath.
Installing the ROB-OF
The ROB-OF is designed to be undermounted beneath the vanity top. Because every hand-made Brightwork basin is unique, Nantucket's guide provides no template: the installer traces the actual rim and, for an undermount, subtracts 1/8" from the outline (adding 1/4" where an overhang is wanted). Mounting hardware, template and silicone are not included, silicone should be kept off the bowl because it can damage the finish, and a small rim bend from shipping can be flattened with a rubber mallet over a towel. Choose a standard bathroom drain made for an overflow sink. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop or the wall.

Caring for Polished Brass
Nantucket notes that brass will patina and needs occasional polishing, so the ROB-OF comes with a short routine. Its brass care guide calls for a carnauba paste wax before first use and again every 6 months, a daily wash with a soft damp cloth and a little mild soap free of antibacterial or bleach additives, and a rinse and hand dry. Bar Keepers Friend or Brasso lifts water spots and mineral deposits, steel wool, scouring pads and sponges stay away from the finish, and wine, fruit acid and grooming products should be rinsed off promptly.

Care
Brass needs a little routine care: Nantucket notes it will patina and requires occasional polishing. Seal it with a good carnauba paste wax before first use and again every 6 months. Wash daily with a soft damp cloth and a little mild soap free of antibacterial or bleach additives (original Dawn is the brand's example), then rinse and hand dry; never use steel wool, a scouring pad or a sponge. Remove mineral deposits and water spots with Bar Keepers Friend or Brasso. Face cleansers, toothpaste, grooming products, wine, fruit acid and ketchup alter the finish, so rinse them off promptly.

Nantucket Sinks ships this item by UPS or FedEx from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused Nantucket Sinks products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry Nantucket Sinks' 25% restocking fee, you pay the return shipping, and the return travels at your risk, so pack it as it arrived. Payment processing fees are not refunded. Installed, used or damaged products, and discontinued models, can't be returned.
Nantucket Sinks backs its brass and copper sinks with a limited lifetime warranty: it replaces, at its option, any sink found to have a material defect. All metals patina, so the finish is not covered; follow Nantucket's care guidance to keep it. The warranty covers residential installations for the original purchaser; installation, labor and transportation costs, and damage from installation, improper cleaning, misuse or neglect, are not covered.
