The Nantucket Sinks Round Vitreous China Vessel Bathroom Sink in White comes in 2 versions: 16.5" or 16.625" size and with overflow or no overflow. Pick your options above to open the exact model, with its own price and details. The details below are for the 16.5", With overflow version.
The Nantucket Sinks NSV213 is a 16.5" white vitreous china vessel bathroom sink: a perfectly round vessel, 16.5" in diameter, in a white porcelain enamel finish with an overflow.
Overall it measures 16.5" diameter x 6.75" tall, with an interior of 14.75" diameter and a 5" deep bowl, and it has an overflow. As a vessel it sits on the counter rather than in it, so a simple drain hole is the only cutout and the bowl becomes the focal point of the vanity. Nantucket notes that its high gloss finish seals the surface and makes for easy cleaning, and slight variations in the measurements can exist from one fired piece to the next.
Vitreous china is a dense, fired ceramic, and Nantucket seals it with a porcelain enamel glaze for a high gloss finish that makes the surface easy to clean and maintain; it is durable and practical for everyday use. Dimensions are nominal, so Nantucket's vessel guide has the bowl dry fitted before the 5" diameter hole is cut on the drain center.
It belongs to Nantucket's Brant Point Collection, a range of vitreous china vessel and drop-in bathroom sinks in white, from compact squares and rounds to wide rectangles, so different bathrooms in one home can share a coordinated look.
Planning the Vanity
When planning the vanity, allow a base cabinet of at least 18". The sink has no faucet holes, so the faucet goes on the countertop or the wall, and its drain opening takes a standard 1.75" vanity drain with overflow, sold separately, with Nantucket's umbrella pop-up drains listed for it. Professional installation is recommended, and silicone sealant is not included.
A vessel sits on top of the vanity, so the countertop needs only the drain hole, and Nantucket's vessel guide asks you to dry fit the sink first and leave at least 5" at the rear of the vanity for a faucet.
Caring for Vitreous China
Vitreous china is the classic bathroom-sink material for good reason: the porcelain enamel glaze is easy to clean and maintain. Rinse and wipe it dry after use, use a soft abrasive cleaner only when needed (strong abrasives can dull the glaze), and keep open acids, bleach and drain cleaners out of the vanity. It is not designed to take heavy objects dropped from height, so set heavier items down gently.
For a bathroom remodel, a powder room or a vanity replacement, the Nantucket Sinks NSV213 is a 16.5" round vitreous china vessel bathroom sink that keeps daily cleaning simple and fits a standard plumbing setup.
Features
Perfectly Round Bowl
Nantucket calls it the most perfectly round white bathroom sink you will ever see: a 16.5" circle with a 14.75" basin.
5" Deep Bowl
Inside, the bowl is 14.75" diameter and 5" deep, and the sink fits an 18" minimum vanity base cabinet.
On-Counter Statement
As a vessel the whole bowl sits above the counter, so its shape becomes the focal point of the vanity and only a drain hole has to be cut.
Glazed Vitreous China
Vitreous china sealed with a porcelain enamel glaze gives a high gloss surface that Nantucket says is easy to clean and maintain, so daily wipe-downs stay quick.
Standard 1.75" Drain
The 1.75" drain opening takes a standard 1.75" vanity drain with overflow, including Nantucket's umbrella pop-up drains listed for it, sold separately; the drain is not included with the sink.
Built-In Overflow
The bowl has an overflow, so it pairs with a 1.75" vanity drain with overflow, such as Nantucket's umbrella pop-up drains with overflow, sold separately.

Installation & Care
Installation
This vessel sits on top of the vanity countertop, and Nantucket lists an 18" minimum base cabinet. Following Nantucket's vessel guide, dry fit the bowl, leave at least 5" behind it for the faucet, and cut a 5" diameter hole on the drain center; there are no faucet holes, so plan a tall vessel faucet on the deck or a wall-mount faucet. A continuous bead of plumbing silicone bonds the base to the counter (sealant not included). The center 1.75" drain opening takes a standard 1.75" vanity drain with overflow, sold separately. Professional installation is recommended. The Vessel installation guide is in Resources.
Care
Rinse the sink and wipe it dry with a soft cloth after use. A soft abrasive cleaner is fine when needed, but strong abrasives can scratch and dull the glaze; Nantucket suggests cleaners such as Soft Scrub, Lysol or Clorox bathroom cleaners, and Bar Keepers Friend or Bon Ami for a rare rust mark or heavy stain. Do not store open containers of acids, bleach, lye or drain cleaner under the sink, and avoid dropping heavy objects into the bowl, which can crack vitreous china.

About Nantucket Sinks
Nantucket Sinks is a boutique sink maker based in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, that has designed kitchen and bath sinks for more than two decades. Its range of over 500 products brings together fireclay, stainless steel, granite composite, vitreous china, cast iron and hand-hammered metals sourced from skilled makers in Italy, China and beyond, styled with the charm of the New England coast.
The Brant Point Collection, named for the most photographed spot on Nantucket, is the brand's line of statement bathroom basins. It centers on vitreous china vessel sinks in round, square, rectangular and oblong shapes that sit on top of the vanity as a focal point, alongside self-rimming drop-in rectangles for a more traditional install. Each piece is finished in a white porcelain enamel glaze and works with a standard bathroom drain sold separately.
