The Nantucket Sinks Wall-Mount or Console Fireclay Bathroom Sink in White comes in 2 versions: 28" or 36" size. Pick your options above to open the exact model, with its own price and details. The details below are for the 28" version.
The Nantucket Sinks NS-NPCS28W is a 28" wall-mount or console fireclay bathroom sink in white, from the Newport Collection. Made in Italy with a sleek, low-profile design, it suits compact bathrooms, as Nantucket notes: a 27" x 12" basin that hangs on the wall or sits on a console or stand without the bulk of a full vanity.
Versatility is the design idea. The sink can be wall mounted, placed on a console or used with a stand, and Nantucket notes it saves space in a wall-mount installation; the wall mounting hardware is included, and sink legs are sold separately. The deck takes a single-hole deck-mounted faucet, and a built-in overflow guards against a spill. The 4" deep basin and the low 6" profile keep the look sleek and modern.
It is molded in Italy from genuine fine grade fireclay and glazed in a classic glossy white porcelain enamel that resists scratches and stains, and fireclay itself contains no metal, so it is rust proof. Because fireclay is fired in a kiln, the dimensions are nominal and can vary by up to 1/4". The 1.75" rear drain opening takes a standard drain with overflow, which is not included; Nantucket lists its NS-UDC-OF, NS-UDBN-OF and NS-UDMB-OF umbrella drains as compatible.
Installing the Newport Sinks
Nantucket recommends professional installation. Sink legs for the stand option are sold separately, as are the single-hole deck faucet and the overflow drain.
Nantucket's Newport Collection of fireclay bath sinks is meant to evoke the ease and elegance of summer days by the seaside, with craftsmanship on full display. It shares one low-profile design in two widths, the 28" NS-NPCS28W and the 36" NS-NPCS36W, each able to hang on the wall, sit on a console or stand on legs.
Caring for Italian Fireclay
Fireclay is low maintenance: it contains no metal, so Nantucket's care guide calls it stain resistant and rust proof. Clean the Newport sink with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge, rinse, and dry the bowl with a cloth in hard water areas to prevent spotting. Its spec sheet adds one rule, do not clean it with abrasive cleansers, and a periodic coat of carnauba wax protects the porcelain enamel glaze and helps water run off faster.
The NS-NPCS28W is the Nantucket Sinks 28" fireclay bathroom sink for compact bathrooms, a low-profile, glossy white Italian sink that can hang on the wall or sit on a console or stand.
Features
Compact 28" Width
The NS-NPCS28W is the smaller Newport sink at 28" x 18", made for compact bathrooms and powder rooms where a 36" sink would crowd the wall.
27" x 12" Basin
The 27" x 12" basin at 4" deep gives a wide washing area for its size, and the sink weighs 50 lbs, lighter to hang than the 36" model.
Wall, Console or Stand
The Newport sink can hang on the wall with the included bracket, sit on a console or stand on legs, so it adapts to a modern or traditional bath.
Low-Profile 6" Design
At 6" tall with a 4" deep basin, the sink keeps a slim, low profile that Nantucket calls sleek and modern.
Genuine Italian Fireclay
Molded in Italy from genuine fine grade fireclay with a porcelain enamel glaze, the sink resists scratches and stains, and fireclay is rust proof because it contains no metal.
Single-Hole Faucet, Overflow
One pre-drilled hole takes a deck-mounted single-hole faucet (not included), and an integral overflow guards against an accidental fill.

Installation & Care
Installation
The sink can be wall mounted with the included mounting hardware, placed on a console or used with a stand; sink legs are not included. Nantucket recommends professional installation. There is 1 pre-drilled hole for a single-hole deck-mounted faucet, sold separately. The 1.75" rear drain opening needs a standard drain with overflow, sold separately.
Care
Fireclay is low maintenance, stain resistant and rust proof, since it contains no metal. Clean with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge, then rinse; in hard water areas, dry the bowl to prevent spotting, and use baking soda to help lift stuck-on residue. Nantucket's spec sheet for the Newport sinks says not to clean them with abrasive cleansers, so skip scouring powders and abrasive pads. A periodic coat of carnauba wax protects the porcelain enamel glaze and helps water run off faster.
