The Nantucket Sinks Wellfleet-2719W is a 27" white fireclay undermount kitchen sink with a medium single bowl, for a smaller kitchen, an island or a second sink where you want the look and feel of fireclay without a farmhouse apron. It fits a 30" base cabinet and keeps a deep, generous basin.
The bowl slopes gently and tapers to the bottom of the basin, so water runs to the center 3.5" drain, and the top edge of the sink is finished in white porcelain enamel glaze, which means it can be reveal mounted with the glazed rim showing below the countertop edge. A bottom grid and a stainless steel finish drain are included.
Fireclay is a natural material that needs fewer cleansers. Dimensions are nominal, varying about 1/4", which is why the countertop cutout is taken from the actual sink.

Fit, Mounting and Plumbing
Because it is an undermount fireclay sink rather than an apron front, it can sit on a standard cabinet: it needs a base cabinet of at least 30", a 2x4 support frame inside to carry its weight (69 lbs), and room behind it for the faucet (it has no faucet holes, so the faucet goes on the countertop or the wall). The drain opening takes a standard kitchen drain. Nantucket's Wellfleet installation guide has the support frame built from 2x4s and the countertop opening cut from the actual sink; the counter can overhang the sink or reveal its rim.
Caring for Fireclay
Fireclay is fired at high temperature under a glaze that lets food stains wipe away and will not rust. Day to day it needs only a mild cleaner and a soft cloth; Nantucket suggests baking soda for stuck-on food, Soft Scrub or a Scotch-Brite sponge for a rare mark, and a little carnauba wax now and then. Nantucket's fireclay care guide calls the material easy and low maintenance, and in hard water areas a quick dry with a cloth prevents spotting.

Installation & Care
Installation
This apronless sink is undermounted below a solid countertop and fits a 30" minimum base cabinet. Following Nantucket's Wellfleet guide, the installer builds a 2x4 support frame in the cabinet to carry the sink, takes the countertop cutout from the actual sink (no template is included), and lets the counter overhang the sink or reveal its glazed rim. Mounting hardware is not included, and Nantucket specifies professional installation only. The sink weighs 69 lbs. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the counter; the 3.5" center drain opening takes the included drain. The Wellfleet installation guide is in Resources.
Care
Clean the fireclay regularly with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge, then rinse; in hard water areas, dry it with a cloth to prevent spotting. Soak stuck-on food to loosen it, using baking soda if needed, and lift a rare surface stain with Soft Scrub or a Scotch-Brite sponge. An occasional coat of carnauba wax adds protection and helps water run off. Fireclay contains no metal, so it will not rust. Fireclay is stain resistant and low maintenance, and the drain should never be over-tightened.

Nantucket Sinks ships this item by UPS or FedEx from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused Nantucket Sinks products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry Nantucket Sinks' 25% restocking fee, you pay the return shipping, and the return travels at your risk, so pack it as it arrived. Payment processing fees are not refunded. Installed, used or damaged products, and discontinued models, can't be returned.
Nantucket Sinks backs its fireclay sinks with a 5-year limited warranty: it replaces, at its option, any sink found to have a material defect, and replacement sinks are offered at 50% of the original purchase price. Glaze damage from improper or caustic cleansers, cracks from impact, a farm sink forced into its cutout, and cracks from an over-tightened drain are not covered. The warranty covers residential installations for the original purchaser; installation, labor and transportation costs, and damage from installation, improper cleaning, misuse or neglect, are not covered.
Warranty claims. Email Nantucket Sinks at info@nantucketsinksusa.com with the date and place of purchase and installation, the model number, a description of the defect and photos of it.
