The short handle 3SH VSE is 9" long and weighs 13 lbs, compact enough to hold against walls, columns and slab edges. The removable side handle gives the second hand a grip beside the shroud, keeping the brush skirt flat while three pistons hammer at once.
Steady contact keeps the cut even and the debris inside the shroud, so the short version suits vertical concrete and edge work, while the long handle version is for floors.
Each of the three heads on the 3SH VSE is a single piece piston with a tungsten carbide cruciform tip, struck 2500 times a minute. Nylon brush seals keep the pistons and cylinders clean, and a worn piston comes out once its screwed cap and spring are removed.
That keeps the hammer working through long runs on abrasive concrete and non-skid, and lets you fit bush hammer pistons later for texturing without buying a second tool.

Novatek describes the shrouded triple hammer as dust-free when equipped with a proper vacuum. Connect the shroud's port to a vacuum rated for the material, keep the brush skirt in contact with the surface, and keep wearing the protection the job calls for.
Novatek rates it at 18 cfm (510 lpm) at a working pressure of 90 psi. Use a 3/8" bore airline, keep runs to about 50' where possible, and fit a filter, regulator and lubricator with a moisture trap.
The 3SH VSE ships with tungsten carbide tipped cruciform pistons, for rapid take-down of concrete, coatings on steel or concrete, non-skid, epoxy and pack rust. Bush hammer pistons, sold separately, texture concrete and expose aggregate for bonding overlays.
Yes. Dual air inlets allow inline or T set-ups: exchange the side handle for the main handle to convert it to an in-line configuration for hard-to-reach areas.
Oil it through the air inlet before use. At least every 50 hours, or sooner if it turns sluggish, flush it with a high-flash solvent and oil it straight away; on abrasive concrete work Novatek recommends doing this daily. The screw-top caps open for piston changes.
