Stages joined on 3" vacuum hose

Stages joined on 3" vacuum hose

Each CBS stage connects to the next through 3" vacuum hose. The workhead stage ships with 50' of it running back from the workhead, and the HEPA stage carries a 6' length with quick release cam lock connections. Hose ends are color coded and flow direction is marked, so each line goes to the right port.

Because every stage shares one hose size, a system can grow a stage at a time and be laid out to suit the site. Before start up, run each hose with no kinks and minimal bends, and check that every connector is complete and secure.

Got Questions?

Find answers below or contact our support team.

What does the blast workhead stage include?

The CBS workhead kit, 50' of heavy-duty 3" vacuum recovery hose, a 10' 3/4" blast whip hose with fittings and two worm gear clamps. Connect it to your own blast pot and recovery vacuum to start vacuum blasting.

Will the workhead stage work with my existing equipment?

Yes. It is designed to work with an existing bulk recovery or blast recovery vacuum and your own blast pot.

What does the HEPA stage include?

A steel HEPA box assembly with its 24" x 24" x 12" HEPA filter, a vacuum relief valve, quick-release cam lock connections, an integrated carrying handle and 6' of 3" vacuum hose.

When do I need the HEPA stage?

Whenever the coating being removed is hazardous. The HEPA stage converts a non-HEPA system to HEPA-filtered operation, whether that system is used for open blasting or vacuum blasting.

What protects the HEPA box under high vacuum?

An implosion (vacuum relief) valve, set at 60" of water, protects the enclosure.
