Instead of a high and low switch, the Novair 1000 Variable Speed has a speed knob that holds airflow anywhere from 100 to 1000 cfm with all filters in place. The same panel carries the breaker reset and the differential pressure gauge.
Set just enough air for the space: a gentle flow for an occupied office overnight, full speed while a crew is sanding or demolishing. Lower speeds also put less load on the filters between changes.
The differential pressure gauge reads negative pressure on the clean side of the filters. New filters register 1.0"-1.2" of water column, and the reading climbs toward 1.6"-1.8" as the filters load with dust.
A glance at the needle on each walk-through tells the crew when to swap the pleated carbon and ring pre-filters, which protects the metal mini-pleat HEPA filter (Novatek part F4032) behind them and keeps airflow where you set it.
The Novair 1000 Variable Speed stands upright in a polyethylene shell that takes up 20" x 23" of floor and rises 40" high. Its hand truck configuration sits on a non-marring skid, so one operator can move the 94 lbs cabinet from room to room.
A small, vertical footprint suits corridors, closets and small rooms where a horizontal unit would block the way, and the dent proof, leak proof shell takes the knocks of a work van. The skid will not mark finished floors on the way in or out.

It uses the same upright cabinet and 1 hp motor, but a speed dial replaces the two-speed switch, so you can set any airflow from 100 to 1000 cfm instead of choosing between two fixed speeds.
It runs a 16" x 16" metal mini-pleat HEPA filter, Novatek part F4032, as the final stage, behind a two-ply ring filter and a pleated carbon filter.
The HEPA, Alarm and Light configuration sounds an alarm and lights a lamp when the gauge reaches 1.6"-1.8" of water column. The HEPA, Alarm, Light and Hour Meter configuration adds an hour meter that shows the unit's running time.
It draws 5 amps at 115 V. Novatek asks for a dedicated 10 amp, 110/115 V circuit and a 10 amp rated cord.
Yes. It has a 10" exhaust collar for flex or lay-flat duct, and 12" intake doors are available.
