The Novastrip 1026 control panel combines a key switch, an emergency stop, a reset button and a keypad temperature and timer controller. The controller reads a thermocouple on the heat panel and runs 100% solid state, with 12v DC controls instead of mechanical relays.
The operator sets temperature and cycle time once and the machine repeats it section after section. The key keeps it from being switched on by anyone else, and the stop kills heat in an instant.
A 28" x 40" heat pad covers a 6ft² footprint, softening the adhesive under six 12" x 12" or twelve 9" x 9" tiles at once. While the machine heats the next section, the operator scrapes up the tiles it just left.
On warehouses, corridors and large rooms that rhythm keeps one operator busy and the floor coming up whole, with no water and far less cleanup than wet hand scraping.
At the end of the day the timer runs out or the emergency stop is pressed, and the controller switches to cool down mode. Novatek props the front of the base on a block to let air under the shroud, and the display reads safe to transport when it is ready.
Wait for that message and for the temperature sticker on the heat panel to read 95 or less before moving the 88 lbs machine, and wear heat resistant gloves, since the shroud can stay hot.

A 220/240 V, single phase, 50 amp service. It plugs into that supply directly, so no external buck booster is needed.
Six 12" x 12" tiles or twelve 9" x 9" tiles per cycle, from a 1026 square inch footprint on a 28" x 40" pad.
About 15-20 minutes to reach the factory preset temperature. Heat it over bare concrete where possible, or check the tile beneath so it does not overheat.
Yes. The keypad controller raises or lowers the set temperature in steps and sets a cycle time up to 59.99. An alarm sounds when each cycle ends, and if reset is not pressed within 20 seconds the unit enters cool down.
Yes. The handle is removable for transport and shipping; when refitting it, reconnect the power plug and the thermocouple.
