Heat base with its control box

Heat base with its control box

The Eco-Strip 100 is a 14" x 14" heat base with a red control box mounted on top. Inside the box are a breaker switch, a built-in timer that runs a 20 minute cycle, and a temperature dial preset at the factory and adjustable by the operator.

Leave the timer to end the cycle and the panel cools on its own, so a forgotten machine does not keep heating a floor. Turn the dial up or down to suit the tile and adhesive in front of you.

Sized for closets and stairs

Sized for closets and stairs

With a 1ft² footprint, the Eco-Strip 100 heats one 12" x 12" or one 9" x 9" tile per cycle, and at 18 lbs it can be carried up a flight of steps. It has a 35"-44" working height, and the handle comes off for transport.

It is the machine for the spots the larger Novastrip models cannot reach: closets, stair treads, bathrooms and the edges of a room.

Got Questions?

Find answers below or contact our support team.

How much tile does the Eco-Strip 100 heat at once?

One 12" x 12" tile or one 9" x 9" tile per cycle, from a 196 square inch heat panel.

What power does it need?

A grounded 115/120 V outlet; Novatek's manual calls for a 20 amp circuit.

How long does it take to heat up?

About 15-20 minutes to reach temperature. Park it over bare concrete while it heats if you can; if it has to sit on tile, check the tile so it does not overheat.

What happens if it is left on?

A built-in timer runs a 20 minute cycle and cuts power to the heat panel if the machine is not moved, and Novatek lists a safety sensor that shuts the machine down if it is left unattended.

When can I move it after use?

Let it cool to 100 degrees Fahrenheit or below, propping the front of the shroud on a block to speed cooling, and wear heat resistant gloves because the shroud can still be hot.
