The AV1 makes its 200" H₂O of suction from shop compressed air through a venturi, so the unit has no motor, switch or wiring. Fed 35-50 CFM at 80-100 PSI, it moves 120 CFM through washable conductive filters and a HEPA stage rated 99.995% at 0.2 micron.
Size your compressor first. A small portable unit will not keep the vacuum at full suction for long.
Each unit comes with a static-dissipating 1.5" suction hose, a 1.5" pull-pin wand, floor tool, crevice tool and round brush, plus a static-dissipating 0.5" x 25' air line hose.
The pull-pin joints lock the wand sections together, so the tool stays put while you work along a floor or under machinery.
PrestiVac builds the air-operated AV1 line beside the electric EX1 line, in matching stainless bodies from 1 to 45 gallons. The AV1 suits sites where compressed air is already piped to the work area.
The EX1 carries third-party CSA certification to UL 1203. The AV1 has no electrical parts, so its hazardous-location rating is PrestiVac's own.

PrestiVac rates the AV1 for Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C and D (T6) and Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F and G. This is the manufacturer's rating: the unit has no electrical components, so it sits outside the UL 1203 electrical listing. PrestiVac claims no NRTL, ATEX or IECEx approval for this line, so confirm suitability against your own area classification.
Plan on 35-50 CFM at 80-100 PSI through a 0.5" air line. Check your compressor can supply that while other tools are running.
Yes, as long as your compressed-air supply keeps up. Check that the compressor can deliver the rated air flow while other tools are running.
No. It is built for dry collection.
No. The unit has no motor, switch or cord. Everything runs from the compressed-air line, which is why it can stay on for a full shift without overheating.
