600 CFM Where the Smoke Starts

Built for a Ducted Kitchen
It is ducted only: it vents through the top or the rear and is not designed for recirculating operation or charcoal filters, so plan a duct run to the outside. Use 6" metal ductwork, no more than 3 elbows and a total run no longer than 40', with a wall or roof cap that has a built-in damper to stop backdrafts, because the duct route has a strong effect on airflow, noise and energy use.
The body is premium stainless steel, durable and simple to wipe clean, with an ultra modern look. The motor draws 180 W and plugs into a grounded 120V, 60 Hz GFCI outlet through its factory cord, which is about 3.28 ft long. The hood is CETL and CEC certified for safety, performance and efficiency.
Sizing and Fit
The RH-AZ0391TSS measures 36" wide, 19.8" deep and 6" high. At only 6" high, it tucks under a standard wall cabinet and leaves the cabinet above nearly full height for storage. Pick the 30" model for a 30" range and the 36" model for a 36" cooktop.
Safety and Grease-Fire Rules
Plug the hood into a GFCI outlet; the unit must be grounded, installation work and electrical wiring must be done by qualified persons to all applicable codes, and if the cord is too short a qualified electrician should install an outlet near the hood rather than using an extension cord. Use only metal ductwork, and vent ducted installs to the outdoors. To reduce the risk of a grease fire, turn the hood on when cooking at high heat, never leave surface units unattended at high settings, and clean the fan and filters often so grease does not accumulate.

Installation & Care
Installation
Mount the hood so its bottom sits 24" to 36" above the cooking surface, and plug it into a grounded GFCI outlet near the hood; do not use an extension cord. BRUNSTAG's manual says installation work and electrical wiring must be done by qualified persons, and to consult a qualified electrician if you are unsure the outlet is grounded. Duct with 6" metal ductwork to the outdoors, never into a wall or ceiling cavity, with no more than 3 elbows and 40' of run, and seal every joint. Cut the duct opening in the cabinet board above the hood, fit the round damper for 6" duct or swap in the included 3 1/4" x 10" damper for rectangular duct, and slide the oil cup into place. A second person helps with lifting.
Care
Before servicing or cleaning, switch the power off at the service panel and lock it or tag the panel so it cannot be switched on accidentally. Wash the stainless steel baffle filters often in a warm dishwashing detergent solution so grease never builds up on the filters or fan. Clean the stainless steel with a soft cloth and warm water with mild soap or dish detergent, always in the direction of the polish lines, rinse 2 or 3 times with clear water and wipe completely dry; a household stainless steel cleaner is fine. Never use scrapers or harsh abrasive cleansers, and do not let dirt or plaster dust sit on the finish. The motor is permanently lubricated and never needs oiling.

ANZZI ships this item from the SW Corp warehouse by UPS, FedEx or USPS, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused ANZZI products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. You pay the return shipping, which for a freight item means the freight cost, and a 20% restocking fee is deducted along with payment processing fees. Installed, used or damaged products and special-order items can't be returned.
