The ANZZI SD-AZFL06002BG is the 34" x 78" Himmel Series fixed framed shower screen in Brushed Gold. A 34" wide, 78" tall framed glass panel, it turns an open walk-in shower into a sheltered one without a door to swing or slide. Brushed gold gives the hardware a warm satin glow that suits gold or brass faucets, warm wood vanities and marble-look tile.
Himmel is a fixed shower screen: a single framed panel of glass that stands at the side of the shower and stops spray from reaching the bathroom floor, while the open side stays clear for walking straight in. At 78" tall it is a full-height panel that suits a rain shower head or a high wall-mounted shower.
The glass is 1/4" (6 mm) thick, crystal clear tempered Deco-Glass with pre-drilled hardware holes, crafted from ANSI certified tempered glass for safety and reliability, and ANZZI's dual sided Tsunami Guard coating helps prevent water stains, soap scum and limescale from building up.
The frame hardware is marine-grade aluminum alloy that ANZZI rates highly rust-resistant, and ANZZI states the refined finish stays beautiful and never loses its luster. The symmetrical design allows left or right installation, whichever side fits your space, and the package includes the glass panel, the frame components and the mounting hardware.
The panel measures 34" wide and 78" tall. A fixed screen leaves one side of the shower open, so set it on the side where the shower head sprays: the glass catches the water and the opening stays dry. Allow enough floor beyond the screen for the spray pattern of your shower head. The panel mounts on the left or the right wall, so the screen can go on whichever side the shower head faces.
Himmel is offered here in 4 finishes (brushed gold, brushed nickel, polished chrome and matte black), so you can match the glass to your space and your fixtures; the SD-AZFL06002BG is the 34" x 78" screen in Brushed Gold.
A screen sits on a finished threshold or shower floor, so plan it with your base or curbless floor and your wall finish. Day to day the glass takes very little work: squeegee or wipe it after the last shower of the day so drops do not dry into spots, and wash it with soap and hot water on a soft cloth when it needs more. Skipping abrasive pads and harsh cleaners protects both the glass coating and the brushed gold finish.
Himmel suits a walk-in shower in a modern bathroom, a curbless remodel or an open shower that currently relies on a curtain, in brushed nickel, brushed gold, matte black or polished chrome. ANZZI highly recommends professional installation.

Installation & Care
Installation
Mount the 34" x 78" panel on a finished threshold against a finished, plumb wall, on the side the shower head sprays toward. The hardware is reversible for a left or right opening. ANZZI recommends professional installation.
Care
ANZZI's care guide says to clean with regular soap and hot water on a non-abrasive cloth or sponge, to test any stronger cleaner on an inconspicuous area first, to rinse every surface completely right after cleaning, and never to let a cleaner soak. Because the Tsunami Guard coating makes water bead and run off, a squeegee or soft-cloth wipe after each shower clears the drops before they dry into spots; skip scouring cleaners, bristle brushes and abrasive sponges, which can scratch the glass and its coating. Wipe the metal hardware dry with a soft cloth and keep ammonia, bleach and acid cleaners off the finish.
