On-Demand Diesel Heat at 120°F

On-Demand Diesel Heat at 120°F

The Tucker heater burns diesel on demand and holds 120°F at 1 GPM, a 65°F rise over the incoming water, using 0.34 gallons of fuel per hour.

Warm water loosens grime faster than cold. Keep delivery at or below 1 GPM for full heat, which makes a tank delivery system with an adjustable flow controller the natural partner.

Brass Barbs and a 12V Supply

Brass Barbs and a 12V Supply

Water enters and leaves through 3/8" brass barbs, the exhaust leaves through a 1.5" vertical pipe, and the heater draws 6.5 A at 12 VDC.

Plan a vertical exhaust route and a 12V deep-cycle battery before installation. The heater and its 11-gallon diesel tank arrive mounted together on one aluminum base.

Built to Order, Battery Not Included

Built to Order, Battery Not Included

Tucker builds the heater to order, with a lead time of 4 to 6 weeks, so plan the purchase ahead of the cold season rather than at the first frost.

It runs from a 12V deep-cycle battery, which is not included, and Tucker offers it together with a Fill N Go system for a hot pure water setup on one vehicle.

Got Questions?

Find answers below or contact our support team.

How hot does the water get?

Tucker rates continuous output at 120°F at 1 GPM, with a 65°F rise over the incoming water.

What fuel and power does it use?

It is diesel fired, using 0.34 gallons per hour from an 11-gallon tank, and it runs on 12 VDC at 6.5 A from a deep-cycle battery you supply.

Will it work with a high-flow cart?

Tucker says it is not ideal for systems producing more than 1 GPM, as you may not see enough heat rise above that flow.

How is it installed?

The heater and fuel tank come on an aluminum base. Water connections are 3/8" brass barbs, and the 1.5" exhaust ducts vertically.

How long is the lead time?

The heater is currently built to order, with a 4-6 week lead time.
