Tucker Upgrade Kit for Alpha Solar 20" Brush

What it is

The Tucker Boar Bristle Upgrade Kit for Alpha Solar 20" is a solar panel brush upgrade kit for owners of the Tucker Alpha Solar 20" brush. Tucker describes it as everything you need to add natural boar bristle to that brush. Boar hair scrubs in any orientation, tip or flat on the panel, but Tucker notes it degrades faster than synthetic bristles and can detach more easily.

Fits the Alpha Solar 20"

The Alpha Solar 20" is a weighted, 20" wide solar panel brush with two full-length rinse bars, each with its own shut-off valve. Its bristle brushes are replaceable, so changing just the brushes costs a fraction of a new brush. It ships with Honey Badger brushes; the Glide, Hybrid and Honey Badger kits give you other bristle options for different soils and panel types. This kit is listed for the 20" brush; Tucker does not list it for the Solar 32.

Tucker® is the water-fed pole and brush line of Reach Higher Ground (RHG), the Castle Rock, Colorado company that window cleaner Shawn Gavin founded in 2006 to build better pure-water equipment. RHG built its first spot-free system in 2007 and acquired Tucker® in 2015, and today designs, assembles and supports the whole range from its Colorado facility: RO/DI carts and tank systems, carbon fiber and hybrid poles, water-fed brushes and the accessories that tie them together.

Tucker sells four bristle upgrades for the Alpha Solar 20": Boar Bristle (natural boar, wears faster), Glide (synthetic, does not shed), Hybrid (nylon and boar), Honey Badger (stiff inner trim). The Alpha Solar Honey Badger itself comes in Solar 20 and Solar 32 widths with Honey Badger brushes fitted.
