Setting Up the XL Skid Mount

The XL Skid Mount arrives as one aluminum panel about 43" wide and 8" deep, with four 30" stages, a pump and a dual-probe TDS meter already plumbed.

Bolt it to a skid or van wall, connect a garden hose feed or a tank siphon, and run the outlet to your tank or reel. Choose 110V or 12V to match your power.

Plumbing Behind the Panel

Plumbing Behind the Panel

Behind the panel, four stainless housings are joined with fittings, plumbing and a bypass valve, with 3/4" garden hose thread ports in and out.

All the plumbing comes done, so mounting is mostly bolts and two hose connections. Leave enough access around the panel for cartridge changes and for reaching the bypass valve.

XL Panel with 110V Pump

XL Panel with 110V Pump

The 110V version carries a 5.3 GPM rotary vane pump with a 1/2 hp motor, regulated to 150 PSI, a waterproof switch and a 6' cord with a 20 A GFCI.

That flow fills a holding tank quickly at the shop. Choose the 12V pump version instead if the panel will run from a deep-cycle marine battery in the vehicle rather than a wall outlet.

Got Questions?

Find answers below or contact our support team.

Can it fill a holding tank?

Yes. Tucker built the XL Skid Mount for cleaners who fill their own tank systems, and it can run from a garden hose feed or by siphoning a holding tank.

Which pump should I choose?

The 110V version has a 5.3 GPM rotary vane pump with a 1/2 hp motor regulated to 150 PSI. The 12V version uses a battery-powered pump and needs a deep-cycle marine battery.

What filters does it use?

A 30" carbon/sediment pre-filter, two 30" RO membranes and a 30" DI post-filter. Your first replacement set is included.

How big is the panel?

Approximately 38" tall, 8" deep and 43" wide.

What warranty does it carry?

Tucker purification systems carry a 2-year warranty and are assembled in the USA. Filters, membranes and resin are consumables.
