The Unger Sticky Fingers Bulb Changer (BS010) is a pole mounted bulb changer with rubber-coated spring steel fingers that adjust to fit various shaped bulbs, including CFLs. Attached to a telescopic pole, this Unger light bulb changer lets maintenance teams remove and install bulbs from a safe distance on the ground instead of climbing a ladder.
Spring Steel Fingers With a Rubber Coating
The fingers are spring steel, so they flex around the bulb and spring back to hold it. A rubber coating on each finger grips the glass to give secure turning power for removal or installation and keeps the bulb from slipping as you turn. Because the fingers adjust, one tool covers a range of bulb shapes.
The changer is made of steel and plastic in silver and black, measures 9" long, 2.2" wide and 2" high, and weighs 0.2 lb.
Fits Unger Telescopic Poles
Sticky Fingers attaches directly to a telescopic pole. Unger designs its bulb changing tools to fit the ErgoTec Locking Cone, which attaches securely to the top of the pole, keeps tools from coming loose or falling off in use, and releases with a quick-release button. The locking cone comes standard with Unger aluminum telescopic poles.
Typical uses include lobbies, offices and hallways with high ceilings, classrooms, libraries and gymnasiums, hospital areas with high fixtures, and warehouses, factories and production floors with elevated lighting.
For a simple way to change CFLs and other shaped bulbs from the floor, pair the Unger Sticky Fingers Bulb Changer BS010 with a telescopic pole sized to your ceilings.
Rubber-Coated Spring Steel Fingers
The coated fingers grip bulbs securely to prevent slipping during removal or installation. Spring steel construction is built for long use.
Adjusts to Various Bulb Shapes
The fingers flex to fit various shaped bulbs, including CFLs. One changer covers many fixtures.
Bulb Changes From the Ground
Attached to a telescopic pole, it removes the need for ladders or unsafe climbing. Staff keep their feet on the floor.
Fits the ErgoTec Locking Cone
Unger bulb changing tools are designed to fit the ErgoTec Locking Cone on Unger telescopic poles. The cone keeps the tool from coming loose in use.
Light 0.2 Lb Tool
At 9" long and 0.2 lb, it adds little weight at the top of an extended pole. That helps keep the pole steady overhead.
Quick Tool Changes on the Pole
The ErgoTec Locking Cone releases tools with a quick-release button. Switch between Sticky Fingers and other Unger high access tools on the same pole.
Sold separately: Telescopic pole
Installation
Attach Sticky Fingers to the ErgoTec Locking Cone at the top of an Unger telescopic pole until it is secure, then extend the pole to the fixture. Turn off the light and let the bulb cool, press the fingers over the bulb and turn to remove or install.
Care
Wipe the rubber coated fingers with a damp cloth to keep their grip, and store the changer so the fingers are not bent out of shape.
