Two operation models
Mobile fleet wash

Water reclaim and EPA compliance
The EPA Clean Water Act regulates wash water discharge. Direct discharge to storm sewers is illegal in most municipalities. Practical compliance options:

- Onsite holding tank for haul to disposal — common for mobile units
- Closed loop recycle system — captures, filters and reuses wash water
- Berm and vacuum recovery — for mobile work, contains the water and pumps to storage

Containment systems for mobile work
Berms: inflatable rectangular dams that ring the wash area. The truck drives in, the berm is set up around it, water collects inside and is vacuumed up.
Mats and trays: portable absorbent or impermeable mats that channel water to a collection point.
Drain covers: rubber covers over storm drains during the wash to prevent runoff entering. Always combined with active water recovery — never as the only control.
Vacuum recovery

Detergents
