The Nantucket Sinks Decorative Brass P-Trap with Wall Escutcheon comes in 3 versions: Chrome, Matte Black or Satin Brass finish. Pick your options above to open the exact model, with its own price and details. The details below are for the Chrome version.
The Nantucket Sinks PT-CP is a decorative brass P-trap with a wall escutcheon in polished chrome, made for Nantucket's Anchor Collection utility sinks, its Victorian Collection sinks and console-mounted vanity sinks, where the plumbing under the basin is exposed. It pairs with the 3CHGR polished utility drain for a bright, matched drain line.
Nantucket notes that bath and utility sinks in North America require a P-trap system for proper and safe use, and on a wall-hung or console sink that trap is on display. This decorative P-trap turns it into a finished part of the design: it connects to the bottom of the basin, curves down and back, and mounts to the wall behind a same-finish escutcheon that covers the drain opening in the wall.
Nantucket describes it as made from solid brass, with the material listed as brass and PVC, and it has a 1.25" inlet and outlet with a cleanout. Nantucket lists it as cUPC certified. Assembled, it measures 11.5" long, 9.5" high and 2.95" wide, and it includes all the components needed to attach it to the sink and the wall outlet.
Before ordering, check the opening and the sink. Nantucket lists it for its CI-2218WNRG sink and 3CHGR drain. Nantucket recommends professional installation.
Nantucket makes the decorative P-trap in three finishes matched to its 3" utility grid drains: the PT-CP in chrome with the 3CHGR, the PT-SB in brushed brass with the 3CHGRSB and the PT-MBL in matte black with the 3CHGRMBL. Each includes a tailpipe designed for its matching drain, which can be removed to connect the trap to a standard vanity drain, and Nantucket lists the CI-2218WNRG Anchor Collection sink as the compatible utility sink.
In short, the Nantucket Sinks PT-CP turns the exposed trap under an Anchor or Victorian sink into a bright chrome design detail.

Cleanout and Full Components
Nantucket lists a cleanout on the trap, a 1.25" inlet and outlet, and all the components needed to attach it to the sink and wall.

Installation & Care
Installation
Nantucket recommends professional installation. The P-trap connects to the bottom of the basin and to the wall outlet, with a 1.25" inlet and outlet, and every component needed to attach it to the sink and the wall comes in the box, including the same-finish wall escutcheon. The included tailpipe is designed to fit the 3CHGR utility grid drain on Nantucket's CI-2218WNRG Anchor Collection sink; remove the tailpipe to attach the trap to a standard vanity drain. Assembled, the trap measures 11.5" long and 9.5" high, so check the distance from the sink drain to the wall outlet before installing.
Care
Wipe the trap with a soft damp cloth and a little mild soap free of antibacterial or bleach additives, then rinse and dry it by hand. For mineral deposits or water spots, Nantucket recommends Bar Keepers Friend or Brasso. Never use steel wool, a scouring pad or a sponge, and rinse off face cleansers, toothpaste, grooming products, wine, fruit acid and ketchup promptly, since they can alter the finish.
