The Nantucket Sinks Single Bowl Dual-Mount Granite Composite Kitchen Sink comes in 6 versions: 27.1875", 30" or 33" size and White, Titanium or Black color. Pick your options above to open the exact model, with its own price and details. The details below are for the 27.1875", White version.
The Nantucket Sinks PR2720-DM-W is a 27" single bowl dual-mount granite composite kitchen sink in a clean matte white, from the Italian-made Plymouth Collection. "Under or over?" is Nantucket's pitch: it installs as a top mount or an undermount, and it puts a full 25" x 15.625" basin into a 30" base cabinet.
The bowl is 7.875" deep with the 3.5" drain at the rear, so the drain line stays close to the wall, which Nantucket notes leaves more space for storage under the counter. The deck behind the bowl has one faucet hole cut through and 4 additional pre-scored holes on the underside of the deck.
Like every Plymouth sink, it is designed and made in Italy from a granite composite of 80% natural stone. Nantucket rates the material resistant to stains and scratches able to withstand thermal shock and heat resistant to 560°F, and the stone is naturally sound absorbing, which keeps the clatter of dishes and running water down. Its care guide still asks for a trivet under any pan hotter than 500°F, since a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F.
Overall it measures 27.1875" x 19.875" x 8.25" and weighs 22 lbs, and the spec sheet notes a template is included for the countertop cutout. It is the smaller sister of the 30" PR3020-DM, which shares the dual-mount design and faucet deck with a wider bowl.
Installing the PR2720-DM
The spec sheet says a template for the cutout ships with the sink, but the sheet does not list mounting clips for the PR2720-DM, so confirm them with your installer. Undermounted, the guide spaces the clips evenly and cuts the counter flush or with a 1/8" to 1/4" overhang; dropped in, the cutout gets a continuous bead of plumbing silicone, which is not included either way. Tighten the drain by hand so it does not crack the sink. Nantucket lists the 3.5KD-GCMB matte black basket strainer, the 3.5DF-GCMB disposal drain, the NS35LCC flip-top crumb cup drain and the 3.5EDF extended flanges as compatible.
Nantucket introduces the Plymouth Collection as a new series of granite composite sinks, likening it to a new arrival on a rocky shore from the old world. Every model is crafted in Italy from 80% natural stone in neutral tones, white, black, titanium, brown, truffle and sand across the range, and the line runs from compact bar and prep bowls through large single bowls to low divide double bowls and workstation models with fitted accessories, so a main kitchen sink and a second prep sink can share one material and one color.
Caring for Granite Composite
Day to day, the PR2720-DM sink asks for little: clean it after use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe tea, coffee and juice up promptly so they do not set. Nantucket's care guide asks you not to cut directly on the surface, to skip harsh abrasives and metal pads, and to keep alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents away from the stone. In hard water areas, lime build-up comes off by covering the bottom of the bowl with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrubbing with the stiff side of a sponge and rinsing.
The PR2720-DM-W is the Nantucket Sinks 27" granite composite kitchen sink in white for a smaller kitchen that still wants one generous bowl, a faucet deck ready for extra fixtures and the choice of a top mount or an undermount.
Features
Classic Matte White
The PR2720-DM-W is finished in a clean, classic white with a matte surface, a color Nantucket says coordinates with many design schemes. It sits quietly against white or light cabinetry and lets the faucet and hardware carry the accent.
Matching White Plymouth Pieces
White is also offered in the PR1716-W bar sink, the 24" PR2418-W, the 30" PR3018-W and the 33" PR3320-W-UM, so a main sink and a bar, prep or second sink can share one stone and one color across the home.
Dual-Mount Flexibility
The same sink can be undermounted below a stone or solid surface counter or dropped in from above, so the installation method can follow your countertop rather than the sink.
Rear Drain Frees Cabinet Space
The 3.5" drain sits at the rear of the bowl, so the drain plumbing runs closer to the wall. Nantucket notes this leaves more under-counter space for storage.
Pre-Scored Deck Holes
One faucet hole is cut through and 4 more are pre-scored on the underside of the deck, so extra fixtures can be added by opening a hole rather than drilling the stone.
80% Natural Stone Composite
Made in Italy from 80% natural stone, the composite resists stains and scratches from everyday pots, pans and utensils, so the matte finish keeps its look with normal care.
Heat and Thermal Shock Rated
Nantucket says the material can withstand thermal shocks and temperatures up to 560°F. Its care guide still asks for a trivet under any pan hotter than 500°F and advises avoiding very hot and very cold together.
Naturally Quieter Stone
Stone is naturally sound absorbing, so running water and clattering dishes are muffled, which Nantucket notes makes for a quieter kitchen. That matters most in an open-plan room where the sink faces the living space.

Installation & Care
Installation
This is a dual-mount sink, so it can go in as an undermount below a solid countertop or drop in from above. A template for the cutout is included, per the spec sheet. Nantucket's installation guide calls for professional installation. As an undermount, the clips are spaced evenly around the sink and the counter is cut flush or with an overhang of 1/8" to 1/4" (1/4" is recommended to hide the silicone). As a drop-in, the countertop opening is traced from the sink and cut inside the rim line, a continuous bead of plumbing silicone goes around the cutout and the clips are tightened until the rim seats; sealant is not included either way. It needs a 30" minimum base cabinet. One faucet hole is pre-cut, with 4 more pre-scored under the deck. The 3.5" rear drain opening takes a standard 3.5" drain, sold separately; tighten the drain by hand, since overtightening can crack the sink.
Care
Clean the sink after each use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe up tea, coffee and juice promptly. Nantucket's care guide says not to set anything hotter than 500°F on the sink (a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F), so use a trivet or potholder, and avoid thermal shock from very hot and very cold together. Do not cut on the surface, and keep harsh abrasives, metal pads, alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents off it. For lime build-up, cover the bottom with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrub with the stiff side of a sponge and rinse.
